I don't know how people complain about assassins like Qiyana, Zed, or Rengar while Twitch exists

I understand when Rengar is full build he deletes you in 0.5 seconds, it's frustrating I feel ya. But this rat can kill you with 2 items while being 850 units away from you. And not just you, your top laner, your jungler, your mother in law, nobody is safe from the rat when he ults. And God help you if he's doing the funnel strat with his premade buddy on Lulu. Oh it's 2 seconds of combat? Well it could be 2 fucking hours for all I care when I can't catch up to him to even hit him unless I'm playing Riven and use flash E Q Q Q.

Because Twitch jungle isn't really consistent or good at all, otherwise even RATIRL wouldn't be shying away from playing him.

He's a GENUINE cheese pick. Not one that auto-wins in some, or really any, cases.

Its like in RTS games. Either you cheese successfully and most likely snowball the advantage and win, or you lose HARD. Jungle twich, although extremely frustrating, is probably one of the most balanced things in the game atm.

Healthy? maybe not. But you do make significant sacrifices to your teamcomp (which could be considered unhealthy in itself because they didn't sign up for it), and gamble on snowballing hard to pull out a win.

If you die to a Twitch jg that's 100% on you. It's a pure cheese strat and only works if you go full ape and die to him walking behind you.

I mean, the pick alone forces you into losing situations in lane.

Even if he never shows bot, you always have to be aware that he could be there, so concede gold, sometimes even exp, to avoid him, which can snowball to even greater disadvantages than if he had just ganked.

The pick FORCES the enemies to take risks to stay relevant vs their laners. That's not "100% on you" if you die to him, since you're often forced to take that risk to actually play the game.

He doesn't do jack shit after the first back. The entire way he stays relevant is through snowballing off of his red buff>Mid gank, where he's the highest level and largest threat in the game. Unless he snowballs off of that, he does fuck all until he finally manages to scale.

Past that one gank, without a kill, he's going to be out-dueled and out-farmed by every meta jungler, will have to concede camps just to not die, and is generally useless as shit for too long, not to mention that it probably fucks your comp.

Hell, once you hit level 2 as well he stops being near as much of a threat, since the only reason it's remotely viable is because of him hitting level 2 before anyone else and cheesing a kill with Q, E, and red buff. After your first back he's less of a threat than any other jungler. Assuming, of course, he didn't get that first blood midlane.

Sure, he's still Twitch, so if he manages to scale he'll be a significant threat. At that point though you might as well have just picked Kindred, since they're actually fucking useful without having to get a kill as soon as it's possible to gank.

Cause he doesn't have the mobility and burst damage as assassins? Twitch has the same weaknesses as ADCs does, If an assassin jumps on him, he's dead.

twitch doesn't have any free farm tools that any other jgl or adc don't have

invisibility isn't unique to him either, not even as an adc

the point was having a lulu support that keeps you alive, like any adc can

Free farm tools? He's not really contested unless he's invaded. After lv 5 anyone can farm jungle just fine with sustain if they have smite. Invisibility isn't unique to him, but no other stealth champ gets movement speed while invisible, attack speed, and can pop ult for more range, and reset it again after a kill.

Twitch requires first blood to have even a remote hope of being relevant.

If he doesn't get that first blood kill, it's over. GG no re. That's it.

Beyond that.. Twitch is heavily abusable. Just about any decent jungle pick can bully the crap out of him. Ward his camps / especially his buffs, and proceed to merc him. Junglers with heavy enemy jungler access (Rek'sai & Kayn are my favorites for that) can make his life a living hell even if he gets that edge. To the point where his ENTIRE team has to be on board with controlling his jungle, while your team has to not help at all.

With that said, he works at the inverse of most jungles in that he will, inevitably, take off. Sometimes that means he becomes relevant at 40 minutes though.. So close out before then.

What are you talking about? You have to invade him, because his early is so abusable. And he only gets to kill you that easily when he already has 2-3 items.

Thats like not caring about the enemy Yi farming for 20 min straight and then wondering why he just melts your team.. if you can't abuse the weakness of a champion, it's your fault and not that champ being broken.

ok let me invade him while my bot lane stays at their tower. Should I also play on 5 PC's since my mid doesn't back away when I spam ping him on my ward 3 times? Guess it's my fault.

Ah yes, cuz anecdotes are always 100% how every single game goes, right? I guess Twitch is just the most overpowered champ in the game and should be deleted then, you're right. Because singular incidents of a bad team outweighs the general weakness of a champion every time.

That's not an anecdote, that's possible outcomes. I can't control what my team does. Here's an anecdote. Cass needs to land her ult, I'm playing Nocturne. I predict her ult based on when my fear will go off, and I use spellshield. I outperformed her and therefore won the 1v1. If I got hit with it I'd say I reacted too slow.

Besides that not being the point of the discussion..

what you just described is a possible outcome. A prediction or suggestion. An anecdote is like describing what happened in your last game against a Twitch. Which it very much sounded like in your previous comment. Not saying it was, but that's how some people try to argue here.

Now again, neither are valid points, because, well technically you could also just have every Twitch you ever play against go afk lvl 1. Does that have any influence on how strong the champion is? No. Does your bad team have an influence on how strong Twitch is? No.

Twitch has general weaknesses, like being weak to early invades or low 1v1 potential against a burst damage dealer. If you cannot capitalize on those weaknesses, that doesn't mean Twitch is strong. It means you don't know how to fight Twich.

Resetting Camouflage that can be activated in combat and in relatively close range..... with a pretty large move speed..... isn't mobility?

Also, as a jungler, he generally doesn't FEEL like he isn't burst.

Red Smite + Spray = death in 2 seconds..... sometimes faster than assassins.

I generally don't hate twitch. I do understand the sentiment.

He almost perfectly counters Evelynn, btw. Camouflage while she is charming and she literally can't/won't find him. She can even be in Q range and he can Camou.

Twitch is a cheese pick that is extremely situational. In games where his cheese does work, it feels impossible to do anything about him as a tank or support player.
