I don't like the Sylas changes on PBE

Maybe it's for the better, but I feel like it's just better to nerf his numbers rather than changing his kit. It could be nerfs to his cooldowns, ratios, or base damages. I just don't like having to adapt to a new playstyle after spending hours learning the champion. He doesn't seem very impossible to balance compared to other champs like Ryze who deserve a mini-rework.

His kit really didn't change all that much. They changed when he got his shield, let him hold yep charges of his passive, and everything else is just number changes.

How are these changes forcing you to learn a new playstyle? He does everything he could do before, just with a bit less base damage, a bit more sustain, and he needs to be a bit closer. With the upcoming changes to Rod of Ages and Liandry's, I could definitely see Bruiser Sylas becoming a thing, but he doesn't seem all that different to me.

Yeah they're overthinking it bigtime. His biggest issues are keystones inflating his kit, E CD too low, and ult being too good in competitive.

I think the worst nerf in there is the cap of 2 stacks on passive.

???

His previous cap was 1. Letting him hold two uses of his passive is objectively a buff.

errr, am I getting this wrong?

Sylas atm can use passive after every ability, I thought the stack cap meant he would have CD after 2 uses?

IT means he can use it 2 times after every spell??????? So, they are moving another problem to top lane?

No, he still gets one spin per spell, but he can store up to two spins. You can cast two spells without autoing in between and you won't waste a use of it.

Right now, if you used both your E dash and immediately recast it, you would only get one passive use. With this change, you store a charge for both casts.
