Why is Lucians Q not a skill shot?

It looks like a skill shot, it feels like it should be a skill shot, yet it is not a skill shot.

It would make him stronger, honestly. At this point, you have to angle it properly in lane on a minion to poke efficiently. Without needing to target it, his poke would become even more oppressive.

What actual reason do you have?

One making it a skill shot would make him slightly less over powered in early laning phase.

Actually it will make him stronger. For now, to hit someone who is staying away from his cast range, he needs to hit minion perfectly positioned so the tail of his light hits opponent. And at that point it IS skillshot. If they made it fully skillshot, Lucian will be able to easily harass people on lane , no matter how they position

He can already do this, at least you would be able to dodge it potentially.

Nah, if u stand properly now, you can avoid getting hit. Fully skillshot wont be able to predict and its too fast to dodge. Also, it would give him huge power when destroying turrets, as now, if you clear opponents wave, you cant Q and doubleshot turret. If they make it skillshot, Q double, E double, W double, Q , double, again E, double. Also he would be able to use it to steal objectives like baron or drake behind wall, Nah, making it a skillshot would boost his power too much.

Well in my opinion it would make him stronger. At the moment Lucian (Q) needs to find a target at the range of 500. The (Q) it self has a range of 1000.

It would be way easier to take aim at targets behind the 500 range if Lucian (Q) is a skillshot.

I don't think making Lucian stronger is a good idea. It's actually pretty hard to use on him now. Making it a skill shot would make lucian easy mode.

Because it already is a skillshot? Sure you target it, but the enemy can still step out of the effect with good enough reflexes, so it's a skillshot.

it kinda can be used as a skill shot in a similar way to how you use lees kick to knock up an enemy with his own ally. You can use minions to try and hit enemy champions with its range.
