Any chance of bringing back the new champion matchmaking in normals?

I'm trying to learn new stuff, but the enemy team is still at the level from when you were winning and crap. Any chance of bringing back the new champion matchmaking? I'm a freaking silver, most likely bronze after placements, going with golds and higher.
