Genuinely curious: Do any of you actually want your favorite champion reworked?

The one time this really effected me was the Shen rework who I have 351k mastery in, and I can't even play him anymore. I don't mind my champ falling out of meta or being underpowered as long as I can still play the champ I put all my time and effort in.

I'm really worried about the Velkoz rework, as I'm trying to carry my way to Plat on him. I really enjoy his kit and playstyle and playing him is fun no matter if I win or lose. I don't want that to change. While I agree that there are some things that could be better about him, I also recognize that there are other champs that should take priority for changes.

Nami... nope. I don't want Nami reworked ever.

  1. Sejuani was one of my mains and she had what appears to be one of the most successful reworks.

Except then she got chain nerfed into the ground. She got a reshuffling of her abilities that made a lot of sense, until she got dual nerfed with cinderhulk, then cinderhulk got nerfed more, and Sej got nothing back. Thanks for that, Riot!

  1. I used to be able to enjoy playing Sona, but we all know how this story ends. Her rework destroyed her.

And then, after Sona struggles to have any impact with what she has left, Riot destroys her again. Good job, Riot!

  1. So I'm a bit hesitant to say Evelynn needs a(nother) rework, because Riot's quite likely to destroy her too.

But since stealth needs to be paid for (as opposed to mobility or resourcelessness which are as free as this game is) Eve is unplayable without full team coordination. And even then there are much better picks.

In the end, if your champ is up for a rework, BE WORRIED. Or be prepared to find another champ. The odds are against you.

The W Tank to R/E him was awesome.

I'm one of the few(?) Sona players who are genuinely happy about her rework so i can't exactly complain. While i haven't been touched by most reworks due to my champion pool being really small, post-rework champions i've played were all pretty darn fun.

I kinda want katarina reworked, but there are so many disengage/stasis champs now that what is the point of playing her?

dude shen support rocks right now.

its soo good against tank supports like leona tahm or tresh

That may be true, but he's not my champion that I put over 1000 games in to master the mechanics of.

Rengar main here, I don't care if He gets a rework, but I just wanna be able to jump often, auto reset, and bola. So if they wanna change his w and r that'd be fine. I just don't want my identity wrecked.

A little surprised at the OP though. Shen rework is pretty cool and modernizes the champ. I guess if you have 350k mastery you were very used to the old one so that might be a bummer, but new Shen is pretty fun. I think his E is even longer range now too.

I think that's the problem everyone's having is I'm not saying new Shen is bad, (Although that is actually my opinion, and I'm positive he'll never see worlds play again) but they made no attempt to preserve the champion's identity. His new abilities would have been better suited on a second ninja with a different ult, in my opinion. He used to be a sustain tank with a light lane poke for farming and harrass, and that's just not the case anymore.

Mordekaiser

yes

EmollientNut01 votes

Well to be fair, he was fine until they sent him on the buff/nerf rollercoaster that is a rework to begin with. :P

pre-rework Mordekaiser, I'd still say yes

he was honestly pretty cancerous with his ridiculous burst and relatively limited windows for interaction.

well there are champ reworks and champ reworks as long as the iddentity of the champ remains i have no prob and i think that was the main issue with morde the should and by all means get him in the bot lane and i think that rework is the only one went truly haywire wrong cause for GP shen poppy they kept the identity ( shen did loose his Q but hes ult and taunt stayed the same except i don't like the floating sword thingy the might need to make it so so he can pick it up and trow it or somthing)
