Hey Riot, since Creep Block and Unit pathing is @#$%ed right now...
...can Draven please Ignore Unit Collision AT LEAST when moving TOWARD mid-air Axes.
It's hard enough to catch Axes without them landing inside minions/minion waves.

That sounds like it would be really fidgety coding and probably cause a lot of bizarre interactions. Catch an axe in a minion wave and just get stuck? It'd probably have to try to force a "grace period" after the axe lands or is caught where collision still wasn't on, but it'd still risk them just getting stuck inside if they stopped to attack something.
Would also probably lead to weird cases of leading your axe landing into a minion wave so that you can sprint through it without collision.
It would literally just be a couple of lines of 'when, then' code because all of the necessary mechanics already exist in the game - Ignore Unit Collision, and Moving Toward Targets.
It would literally translate into:
When <Draven is moving toward airborne axes>, <ignore unit collision>.
The code simply asks for a condition to be met for an event to occur. In this case the conditions being met is Draven moving toward his Axe(s), and the event being Ignoring Unit Collision.
It would literally be calling upon pre-existing code.
Except that that kind of conditional could also massively screw with his own pathing, if he's ignoring unit collision sometimes but not always depending on which direction he's moving. "It's just a couple lines of code" is almost never how real coding works, especially in a codebase with as much legacy spaghetti as LoL. Without actually trying it there's no telling what might go wrong.
1000x this. There is a lot more things you have to consider than just "writing" the code. What if Draven runs into a bunch of minions to catch his axe then can't get out because suddenly he can't move through units again?
I love when people who don't know about the games code say it's just a simple line or two changed.
It's exactly the same as it was last season now that they rolled the changes back. I know it's cool to complain about creep block, and while it is bad, it's exactly as bad as it was all of last season. The super bad creep blocking you're seeing right now? Completely in your head.
No they rolled back SOME of the changes but it was still changed. Minion block still is worse then it was before they touched it.
Actually, http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/patch/patch-524-notes#patch-pathing
They reverted the changes. All of the changes they made in the preseason.
not a bad idea...
get a phatom dancer I think it have the passive thingy that let you ignore unit collision. I DONT KNOW if they still have it I didn't check.
nah it doesnt. phantom dancer only works like that when you are within 500 range of a enemy champion
Do you not read the patch notes or keep up to date on item updates?
Phantom dancer only works when within 500 units which is crap for an adc
yeah i know exactly what you mean. Draven has always been my fave champ and i play him quite often and right now its really annoying early game to catch his axes with the creep block.. Especially when going in for a kill while minions are around and you have two spinning axes
