Rek is an insanely fun champion to play IMO, but clearly there's some serious problems here. She's useless in solo queue before Diamond, and in competitive she's unstoppably oppressive. Now that she's going through another round of nerfs in 6.18 (An armor reduction this time), isn't it fair to say something needs to be done to actually make her worth using for the other 96% of players?

Kazzper3 votesWhen she was first released she was suppose to be the terror beneath that was primarily a fighter. However due to her numbers and playstyle she was played more of as a tank or bruiser.
I think Rek'Sai would be fine if they went back and forced her more AD heavy fighter build.

After the changes I wouldn't be surprised to see some Vi. And with the change in lane swaps and the fall of Gragas I wouldn't be surprised to see others peek out. Also I think Hecarim has seen some play in other regions recently.
Furthermore her losing viability in pro play is currently the goal right? Fighters while not the best for the pro scene can be perfectly viable for solo or dynamic queue.
Currently Rek'Sai gets to build tank and can stay relevant in pro play by seeing in the fog of war, having an easy to use and easy to land knock up + global map pressure.
Now if Rek'Sai has to build AD she still gets to see through the fog the war and have her global map pressure but her knock up can no longer be used by flashing into 5 other enemy champions because she would get blown up. There would also be other differences in power that I think would be enough to consider other champions for their strengths in competitive.
