I feel like Ivern's clear is a bit too risky

Am I the only one that feels that leaving the jungle with about half hp after having to sit there and mark camps and not get a leash leaves him way too much at risk.

I feel like the hp costs need to drop slightly if he has to sit for almost 25s early game before he can actually claim his reward. But making him claim it any sooner makes his clear speed too high. He has potentially the fastest level 3 in the game, but I mean unless you perfectly execute a gank right when you get it, you start to fall behind almost immediately starting on the first back.

Meh. Not really. It honestly balances him. A lot.

The thing is he doesn't really scale. If he doesn't get his level 3 successful gank he basically loses. And I feel like his late game is almost non existant. He has no power curve. He literally is get ahead before level 5 or fall behind.

He has really good synergy. But he is so reliant on his Q because it has all of his kit in it.

The hp and mana from the clear makes it so they don't have broken clears, while still keeping with his clears. Also, who cares about his q. It's dead to me.

It is literally his entire kit. His bushes and shield really don't do much for him. I mean the passive is really nice and all, but he really shouldn't be melee without it. Maybe a 200 range AA and an extension to 500 with it active, but right now 450 range is kind of weak for what it is. And adding range actually hurts his Q. So it's really hard to say.

I was mainly debating around the CLEAR, not the rest of his kit. I was just joking, the q is NOT dead to me.

Nah, his first clear is about the same as any other squishy mage. Imagine if you power cleared the whole jungle as say Eve -- you'd be almost dead. You don't have to rush the jungle item thanks to your passive, so if you buy a Catalyst first back, you do fine on your next clear.

As for late game, try building a Nashor's mid-game, and max your W first. If you use your W aggressively, you can actually chunk people pretty well with autos, and your Q and E do even more damage. Daisy also hits like a truck if you build AP.

Talisman > Catalyst + Boots > ROA + CDR boots > Echoes > Protobelt > Nashor's > Rylai's -- try that build out.

Oh and, do the enemy's buff first. Whatever buff they're not goinna use, just use your passive + smite to instantly steal it, then go for a gank top or mid, and then go clear your jungle.
