Destroyed rank by introducing a system that rewards noobs and punishes core game players! AKA Dynamic Que-History Lesson Star Craft did this, they changed it shortly afterwards, World of Warcraft did this, does anyone remember how popular that game is now days? Created a mastery system where one particular keystone is obviously the best and made certain champions so much more powerful! AKA Thunderlord's Decree-World of Warcraft got rid of their skill trees so that casual players didn't find it too complicated any longer! Again anyone remember how popular that game is now? Gave assassins a better way to kill tanks and bruisers so now they can easily just go through and destroy everyone on your team! AKA Duskblade of Draktharr, like assassins weren't annoying enough! Further hurt solo que players by giving them less time to coordinate, but hey anything to please our little kids that attention span is the equivalent to a 2 year old. Made it easier for smurfs to boost noobs! Dude really, really now even more noobs playing in rank matches great!

Other changes made some marksmen more op than others making some of our favorite adcs useless. Now mobile adcs that can kite forever with many dashes, tanks that do more damage than some other champions in this game, supports being all stars, assassins being the new tanks, unkillable mages with lots of power. Items that make getting anywhere near a mage suicide, marksman grabbing bruiser and tank items as core items. Got rid of a penalty that was meant to keep pre mades in a fair match up with solo quers. Brought items out that made it impossible to come back into a game making games way more often than note really 1 sided. Making snowballs more common and harder to deal with. I'm sure there's a lot more point is riot took a game that was competitive and fun and turn it into a casual friendly environment, this game has loss a lot of the competition in it and gain a lot more problems, everything is unfair champion are broken and instead of fixing them, they just break more champions, riot Brand wtf were you thinking? Made mages more valuable as supports even though it's not intended. Made gold items useful on any mage, well at least spell thiefs edge. Riot if you want to destroy your game go ahead you are slowly doing it and I give this game maybe a couple more years at the route it's going their's a cliff and your loyal fans are trying to help you stay afloat because we like your game and you repay us by telling us to fuck off, well their's the cliff have fun let's see if you guys can fly.

So was Season Five. And Four. And Three.

For real though, it'll take awhile for LoL to die.

Why do I feel like people have been saying this since day 2 of the alpha?

Because they have. I've literally been hearing this bs since I started playing league in season 2. every time I come back to these forums or look on youtube, there's someone complaining that league is dying. even though it's not even really close to dying. Even when WOW was dying it took several years for it to actually get as unpopular as it is now, and that was because of the major mistake they made of changing it from an adventure game into a queue'ing game.

The whole "this game is dying" thing really makes it hard to take a post seriously, because I immediately have to question if the rest of a post is just more hyperbole and ranting. I'm not saying that I agree with all the changes RIOT has made recently though.

For everyone that commented I did say it'll be a good 4 to 6 years for this game to die, and that's because of the popularity but dynamic que is really the end of this game, after this season they are going to lose so much money when solo que players get fed up with this game being completely unfair to them, this is the first time riot targeted a specific audience let alone 2, one is positive way too positive, and the other in a completely negative way. Riot pretty much stated fuck you solo quers we don't give a shit about you at all. They completely alienated solo que players and erased a lot of what made this game competitive turning it into a casual game, for me world of warcraft died when mists of pandaria came out for others it started dying when cata came out, but if solo que doesn't come back this game by next season will be completely dead to me.

Hate to break it to you but solo q caters to casual players if you are going for that stupid argument. If you are a hard core ranked player then you will play with other people. That's how every team game works.

Actually completely wrong casual players like playing with friends, most core players that put a lot of time into this game love solo que because it's based off of their skill if there team lost it's their fault now with pre-mades it's not the same, and no it's not how every team game works while for some that would be true and it be true in this game if they had communication available through the game, but they don't solo que is what most core players liked about the game, you need to go do your research buddy most people that are against dynamic que are high level players or at least gold and higher that have been playing this game for a long time.

All I'm saying is this they made a lot of bad decisions this season I'm not saying for sure this game is going to die but riot does need to think about stuff more bring out a rework on 18 mages all at once including reworking an ability on certain that are already strong is just wow, dynamic que I don't think riot really considered the repercussions of making a system like this. Don't get me wrong I like constant changes in this game reworks for the most part are great some aren't but some are, but they do need to keep making changes but riot went way out of line when they got rid of solo que and if they don't bring it back there are going to be negative repercussions and a lot of them.
