Suggestion: reduce minion buff effectiveness if one team has an AFK
As you may know, the minions get buffs if a team has a level advantage. And if someone has an AFK, that person isn't levelling up - therefore, enemy gets a free advantage. I suggest that if a game is a 4v5, in a team of 5 the lowest level person doesn't count towards the minion buff. Couldn't be abused much since even if someone feeds level difference wouldn't be that drastic.
Ironic, isn't it? DotA does it best not to make 4v5 a living hell by buffing the outnumbered team but League does exactly the opposite by giving more advantage to the full team. Just got out of a 4v5 game where we were clearly a better team, managing to hold out for 50 minutes and even winning team fights. Except after every team fight we had to split up and defend due to auto-pushing minions.
And since 4v5s are unwinnable by design, from now on I'm simply going to alt-F4 every time I get into one until Riot musters enough decency to implement at least the most basic stuff to help in these situations.
