Lets get this straight: nashor tooth shouldnt be build on ap champions
Nashors gives attack speed and we know ap desnt use as and they rely much more on high ap so nashor tooth is actually an adc item because it gives attack speed!!!!

Even though there may be better items to build on these champions, these are the kinds of champions that would build it. Effectively, it's any AP champion who gets an on hit effect of some kind. Kayle's Righteous Fury, Azir's soldiers, Diana's passive, Cho'gath's E, Kog'maw's W, Lulu's passive...anything of this sort.
