Like, holy sh*t, she just might be the new cancer of top lane.

Admittedly, I have seen many, but can anyone comment on her status top?

huh.. considering that the jung items let smite smack enemies... I suppose it's a valid idea - earlier drags and better baroning and stuff.

And that's why I also think Mid lane WW is better than top lane. Having smite but no teleport means you can't take advantage of double smite.

I know I'm going to get flak for devourers so I'm going to explain that as well. WW get's assists at insane rates, his W means any enemy that dies during a teamfight he is guaranteed an assist on. So even without clearing (many) jungle camps I I've been ending these games with 40-50 stacks on devourer.

You can counterpick her top. I assume Ryze would do well against her top lane. Actually, I think we might start seeing Morgana top as well against her. That's actually not a bad idea, now that I think about it....

Anyway, snares shut down her mobility, so picking other ranged champs against her, especially ones with snares, should be able to win trades. Morg can black shield her slow, and Ryze's burst and snare should out trade her. While melee, Maokai can probably do well also, but he'll require smarter play and a bit of passiveness.

But, yes, she's a good counterpick to top lane fighters and melee bullies, largely because these style f champions are susceptible to kiting.

Advantages as Kalista top

Range, no duh. I mean, its 550 plus that bs jump. (: Wth Rito...?)
Easy pokes accopanied with cd refresh E with minions
W to scout for incoming ganks, better than wards since it makes a sound.
Nidalee 2.0, dat dayum Q. Still hurts when shot near you.

Disadvantages as Kalista top

W passive is wasted.
Ult is completely useless as solo laner, until her jungler arrives.
Nidalee seems fitter to top than Kalista. Why make your life so hard here?
No disengaging moves whenever the opponent dives at you. For example, Vayne can simply E the enemy off when opponent gets too cocky.
Easier life into getting cramped fingers more than bot lane, as you have to cs & jumps from one place to another continuously.

Only seen her top once so far, she got messed up bad by Irelia and had to completely abandon lane. In general, I've seen Kalista get shredded in every game with Irelia on the enemy team. So that's more to do with this one match-up than with Kalista as a whole, Irelia looks like a hard counter from what I've seen.

You'd have to use your passive offer to your jungler since the jungler will be in your lane there the most if you're not going her Bot lane

I doubt she will end up or stay top for long. She is far too good with someone in lane with her to be in a lane by herself. I know top laners that spam their rivens hate any champ they can't bully and hate ranged champs, but fear not, she won't be top.

You can go back to the b.s. that is Ryze top, the real one you should be annoyed with.
