It literally feels like it flips a coin to decide if you get your primary or secondary role.
Unless you queue support. Then it's a two-headed coin.

it depends on what people are queuing up for at that point in time.
Queue 1: Five minute wait. Get jungle, someone dodges.
Queue 2: Three more minutes. Get mid, dodge, 5 minute penalty.
Queue 3: Five minute wait, get mid, dodge, 15 minute penalty.
That's a total of roughly 53 minutes. Now, if we consider games can last 50 minutes if they go hyper-long, that means I'd need to schedule two hours worth of free time for one game. This isn't an isolated incident, and I have to imagine it's even worse at higher elo matches.
On top of the queue not letting my friends and I queue up for the same roles. On top of solo queueing putting me against 4 man premades. On top of horribly imbalanced matches. This is horrendous.
Oh, but why can't I just be more versatile, and be good at my secondary role? Because you know what my secondary role is? Support. I'll ALWAYS get it if I put that. So I have to choose to either gimp myself by always playing my second best role or gimp myself by risking getting a role I both dislike and am bad at.
AhhShucks1 votesThis is the real issue, there are a lot of people that used to primarily do Mid/Support or Jungle/Support that now can't play their secondary roll because the second you add support or fill to your secondary support is all you are going to get.
