Dear Riot... Is this legal? :O

My brother is in bronze 1 right now, really struggling. So I figure I can just make another account to play with him and help him out. I can't help if I.... carry him to gold right? I just want to have fun and play with my bro? What could be wrong about that? :O

I'm both dead serious and not at the same time. Whereas I do have a brother who is stuck in bronze, and I have made a secondary account, I have yet to reach lvl 30. I also haven't yet decided as to what I'm going to do. Do I follow me gut and don't carry him, or do I abandon my morals in favor of teaching Riot a lesson.....? So now that I've explained why boosting is so goddamn easy and my problem, explain to me why it's a joke now?? Seriously guys, I might as well carry a few of my friends while I'm at it right? NO? This isn't okay? Yea, cut the crap and drop the double standards trash Riot.

"Oh, he was just a friend that I played with" "I don't know how we got to gold(/plat) so fast!" Really???......

Dafuq is boosting and why is it so rampant and unvetted.

Good for you. I've been playing with my wife all season long trying to get her past Bronze 2 and myself past Silver 4. As soon as we cross the threshold, it's crappy teammates and matchmaking, and back down we go.

I don't give a crap about your trouble with boosted players. You cry about wanting fairness in Ranked, but are willing to make a smurf and ruin the games of others who are less skilled than you? You're every bit as much of the problem, regardless of if you end up carrying your brother to Gold or not. Smurfs have plagued lower elo matchmaking for years, and I'm glad you're getting a taste of the other side of the equation.

You do really like to suck Riot's dick...

Also in all seriousness, people smurf because its more fun to climb and learn new stuff. This was a satire, no need to get angry over it, I can assure you tho that the way dynamic queue is set, the easiest way to climb is to do it with smurfs which most people do anyways.

Ya know, it's interesting. Through lvls 1-15ish there were about 80% smurfs, 15% bots. Which leaves a meager 5% actual new players. (Or possibly really bad smurfs.) The idea that I could somehow ruin lower tiers is kind of a joke. But hey, here's a better joke. If 70% of the community wasn't bronze/silver things would likely be better.

Well, with the way dynamic queue is set up, boosting is technically legal. If you play ranked together and he gets gold, well good for him. Riot wanted to emphasize team play and if he is your brother or even a friend, thats what riot wanted. People may complain and riot might even say what i said was wrong, but the fact remains that riot wants you to play with people(dynamic queue).

It does suck that a somewhat good idea, was terribly implemented and easily exploitable

Something that's not inherently obvious (unless you looked me up) is that I'm platinum. So we should never be in the same game so the system is being abused, it's not teamwork/play it's a joke. Something else that's interesting is I could easily play normal games with him as I often do. But hey, while there's some treats on the table I can easily swipe up, why not? Riot is incentivising boosting and abuse of their own system. Genius implementation though.

I meant this as a satirical post with a meaning, but now I doubt riot even gives a damn either way.

Even before Dynamic que u could smurf to carry someone as duo. This has nothing to do with dynamic

Legal? Yes

Reason why the value of ranked is compromised to to a greater degree when compaired with past seasons? Yes

Giving your brother something he is not worthy of having? Yes.

It is your choice and we can not stop you but it is not something that people around here look at with approval.

It's interesting, because you're right. Pretty dead on in your statements, doesn't change the fact that people hate you. But you're not technically wrong and I can't fault you for that.

I'm pretty sure the boards hate you :P You're really the enemy to self-accomplishment and the mentality behind SoloQ. I personally don't care, because this seasons ranked means nothing. But keep in mind people are really bent out of shape about it.
