i know black cleaver is one but its pretty weird building resists on him as mini gnar i mean look at him he deserves some ad other than cleaver. he doesnt even 'look' (key word) like hes supposed to build hardcore resists from his body frame.

Most ad builds can work on Gnar, but you can't play like Mega Gnar can get in and soak damage. You have to learn to back off when Gnar rages.
Alientcp1 votesWell, do as i do, build a triforce and a frozen mallet.
I rarely go different, however, say in a match against pantheon where you cannot even get close, i tend to do some cdr (2 items from warhammer for cdr), and since he has no sustain, you just force him out of lane.
The downside is that you cant tank anything in mega. So you either sac your ult, or you have to do some sick e/flash/ult to avoid cc and bust as many as you can before you die.
