Who are you playing? Counter play isn't "just jump 3 times, take 2 steps to the right then one step back and you win". You gotta use your champion and knowledge to play against theirs

Ok but tell me what knowledge i have to use to play against it

I said in the title im an immobile mage, mostly Lux

Dont say "root and then flash away" because that does not work at all.

The thing about CHAAAAARGE is that once he starts it, he can't stop it or change his destination for it. You have to consider where he would want have picked to charge to at the time of the cast. It also makes a very loud noise upon casting, and unless he's already there, you should have plenty of time to back off until he passes by or reaches his destination.

In the worst very case scenario where he uses it to tower dive and is coming for your booty, remember not to flash away until he already crashes into you. If he aimed really far away and you flash, he'll still get you. At least then, you'll still have the flash for when he's already on you, and hopefully you'll be at the second mid lane turret to help you.

As a sticky diver, he lives to kill immobile squishes exactly like you. Just like how your job is to nuke any from liners from the back, his job is to jump on you and stab you to death. So sometimes, there might not always be much to do besides nuking him, apply a cc, and hope you don't die.

Edit: Oh, and remember that he's completely unstoppable while charging, so again, don't waste your CC on him until he stops or already rams into you.

His ult is literally the width of the entire lane. There is nowhere to go for safety no matter how much time i have to prepare.

As for "wait for him to land on you, then flash" it he hit his q on me i am just gonna get yanked back to where i started and die.

The ult isn't THAT huge. You would always have to be reasonably close to it before he turns to you and chase you. If you got hit, then you likely didn't react to it fast enough or were caught out at a bad time. Map awareness reduce deaths in these cases.

The Q also has a few second delay and is easy to escape with a flash (unless he quickly flashes as well), but like I mentioned before, if you're all alone and under no tower, have no protections, he'll have stuck himself on you because of your own mistake. In which case, there's nothing much you can do because he played the situation well.

If he is playing top them most of the time he will be coming from your top side jungle. If you are extended and dont think you have time to go right to your turret then angle away from it towards your bot side ......he would have most likely picked where you were or somewhere between where you were and your turret to land because they would assume your 1st steps would be to run to the turret. You might end up running through your jungle but at least he wont land on you.

If you do make it to turret and think they will dive you then dont just stop at the turret...go further back and make him take double turret damage.
