Explain to me why it's ok for Tryndamere to be meta ... he should only be picked as a counterpick

With Conqueror, he does so much damage since it synergizes well with his crits and once he gets a kill in lane, your top laner is just going to get shit on. Then he just goes and splits since no one can deal with him and presses R and Es away when the fight starts getting ugly. Like I feel that is just unhealthy for the game.

Why should he only be a counterpick tho?

I just don't understand why he can spin so often, it makes playing against him a chore because of the fact that it is impossible to catch him no matter how many slows I land/how many he refuses to dodge.

its like every champion in the game, every one will have their own champion that they think shouldnt be meta, for me, its fizz

I'd prefer it if all the champions were meta and saw an almost equal amount of play.

Because that means the game would be balanced.

Trynd's always been the champ you pick when you want to /mute all and either win or prolong a game. Eventually it gets to a point where he kinda falls off, I mean hes really weak to Chained hard CC and zoning. He has his ult but you just build a Randuins Thornmail and Tabi. You end up mitigating more damage than he can dish out. Conq still procs but it hits for less. Champs like Malphite and rammus actually hard counter Tryn.

As for the splitting, thats just what trynds kit is designed for tbh. Solo lane splitting, you don't see him picked in Pro Play for that same reason, he has no real playmaking potential he makes games harder to win, by essentially making it a 4v5, while still creating pressure in the sidelanes. He has no real teamfight potential and actually suffers from building tank stats
