When is the best time to start Ranked in a Season?
Just wondering what people thing is the best time to start playing in a season.

First few weeks are such a coinflip it makes current games seem calculated
Depends on if you want to get carried or not. Early season (the first month) is usually the best time to get carried to gold because high ranks will be trickling in and curbstomping newbies. Mid-late season content creators will be doing most of their "iron to challenger/masters/diamond/platinum" series, so thats another good place to start ranked.
Late season is arguably the best and worst, because the looming deadline will both galvanize and dampen depending on your rank. S1 is a hellhole, gold 5 is a hellhole, plat 1 is a hellhole, diamond 5 is a hellhole, everyone above diamond 1 is still tryharding to place on the ladder.
I generally argue 2 -4 weeks after the season starts, based on your ability to play with and compensate for at least some of your weaknesses versus high elo players, and for your possible feeders. If your biggest reason for losses is your mouth, just block, work a ping game, and play 2-3 weeks in.
If your biggest reason for losses is it takes you 3 seconds to respond to everything, or you don't know how to lane vs counterpicks...... wait 2-3 months.... Play some more norms for practice.
If your gonna Bank on luck? You need 3-4 teammates to really step it up and win matches for you? Day 1 and hope you slide higher from higher ladder chaos.
If your going of Skill? When ever is fine.
If you dislike Chaos impacting games as much as you get frustrated easily then Wait out a few weeks, avoid Holiday breaks and end of season desperation.
A month or two in... Because the smurfs will be out of the way (mostly) which means you're actually facing who you think you're facing.
Now, if you feel you're better than what you are (or worse) do it asap.... You will stomp on your way to the next tier or get into your same tier every other game thx to bring carried.
