Twisted Treeline experience from kills
...is too damn high. Two games in a row a couple kills put one champion 2-3 levels ahead, as well as giving them the gold lead.
In one of the games I was in a 1v1 lane (me as Cassiopeia versus a Kalista) and I forced her out of lane and earned myself a 20 cs lead, sitting a level in the lead. The top laner scores a kill, putting him a level ahead - I think, fine, maybe he was close to levelling. The jungler goes in to clean up and dies as well (everyone makes a mistake) - suddenly the top is now level 6. Two levels from two kills. He then created a lot of presence by roaming and basically single-handedly zoned our team from reaching level 6 until he was level 8/9. In the next game, I was a jungler with no opposition - so I was storming ahead in farm and had even pulled off a successful gank top (sitting on level 5 versus the level 3s in the duo lane and the level 4 top; my two team mates both on 4). The Yasuo gets a kill in the 2v1 and gains a level. We then have a 2v2 skirmish in the jungle and he gets level 6 from killing my team mate (I'm still half a level away, despite have 20+ jungle cs on him) - he then kills me with his ult and gets 7.
The waves are also too big and the towers simply lack the damage to clear them - meaning if you push the lane it stays pushed indefinitely, and will only ever reset if the enemy champion decides to clear it. So often I will rush level 2 and then head bot/jungle for a gank, and 3 minutes later my minion wave is still under the enemy's tower. Can we get Dominion style waves? Or give the towers bonus damage to minions? I know the onus is on me to control my lane better - but this is practically a right-angled learning curve.
