The game should be balanced as a solo game, not a team game.

Our current Meta and almost every change leading up to it were created with one single thing in mind - making League of Legends a competitive team game.

And to be honest - credit where credit is due - they succeeded in that. Cooperation means much more than it ever did and when you don't communicate properly, you will get punished. The team that has the most synergy will win and you will get punished if you somehow fuck that up. From a group game standpoint, games also got much more tactical, with lanes getting more and more connected and having more and more potential influence on each other and the team who utilizes this the most will win the game.

If you actually play as 3 or more people, the game is the most fun it has ever been. If you coordinate with your teammates properly, you will get rewarded and teamplay as a whole got much more intriguing over time.

The problem with all this is that solo games and to some extent duo games, which are extremely different from team games and competitive League, are in the least fun state they have ever been.

The impact of a solo player on his own has diminished over time. One mistake will mean that you fuck up or that you stomp the lane, both of which arent really fun experiences. And in the end it doesn't really have as much influence on the game as it used to on top of that, if you don't have a coordinated team that can capitalize on this. Whereas back in the day beating your lane opponent felt much more tactical and in general just more fun and solo carrying was possible, now you just feel like an unimportant cog in a big machine in which you don't have any influence at all.

Dear devs, I know your vision of the game is that of a team game and to some extent it is, but please reconsider balancing it in that way. The bulk of the playerbase are selfish solo players that want to have a nice individual playing experience and not as much of a coordinated team game with friends. I know this will mean that competitive gaming will inevitably get more boring and team que will be less fun than it is right now but for solo players, the game will improve tremendously.
