Jack in the Box fear isn't stopping Warwick ultimate?

As a Shaco main this is concerning. Just experienced it in my last two games which both had Warwicks. Its pretty simple, put boxes on myself baiting the Warwick ultimate and they continued to ultimate me, fear goes off and the suppress still continues. Last I checked Fear is a hard CC which stops spell casts, movement and ability usage.

Is this intended or a bug?

Even if this is intended it shouldn't be. Should have some sort of comfort around my boxes when playing against this particular champion.
