I got talking with my friend about the state of the game and how it's kinda shit. And how our complaints about champs being overloaded arent bullshit. We went into the shop and just went into each category and listed off champs we thought were fair to play against. We didn't feel cheated when we died or played against them.
Note: This does not include when metas for these champions have high damage. When damage is at a balanced state for these champions, they are fair.
#Things we noticed the champions had in common?
-
The champions had 1-2 things in their kit that was telegraphed and allowed fair counterplay opportunity to the opponent
-
The champions had the remaining room left in their kits for outplay potential
-
The champions have 2 of the 3 basic fundamentals: DAMAGE, CC, MOBILITY (to keep it simple, list is not including utility or zoning)
-
Note that DAMAGE can ALWAYS be changed on any champion, CC and mobility are components of the champion itself and should be considered carefully before being added. If you find yourself with a champion designed with too much mobility and CC than intended, damage needs to be reduced to create balance. The only other option is starting to scrap abilities.
-
All of them had something minimalistically unique and defining to them (Nami's bouncing W, bard's ult/tunnel, braum shield, syndra balls, ori ball, ziggs himself, gp barrels, sion ult/passive, etc)
-
All of the champions are based around having a team or a composition
Pretty much my point of making this post is seeing if other people agree. I don't feel cheated/bullshitted by these champions, and I wouldn't disagree with using them as references for future champion design.

and
she's one of the most unfair ADC...it often feels like "i can attack you while you can't touch me" unless she doesn't fk up so hard
but he's not unhealty (op =/= unfair, his kit is fine)
is also an assassin after her mini rework and i don't think she feels that unfair (trying to be as unbiased as i can)
