From what I'm guessing is that it will scale by the champion you pick? I may be wrong but if this is the case then in the future we could have some really cool "adaptive" items. For instance 
Quepha1 votesI'd rather ditch adaptive and go back to passives that give some of each stat. I find these things to be more interesting when they're good for an AD or AP scaling champ but also enhance an unusual ratio they have that usually doesn't get any love, like Trynd's Q, Gangplank's W, or Evelynn's attack speed steroid.
