Idea to nerf Mordekaiser?

i don't think hitting his numbers is the answer, but doing something about the ult, particularly against melee champions. If you make him into a mage or a tank then he just loses what he was originally suppose to be, a juggernaut, i think they just need to tweak the ult to not be so obnoxious.

  1. They could make the radius of his ult bigger to provide more potential terrain to play around. (like this idea the least cause it does very little to fix the problem)

  2. they could make the channel of his ult 1.5 seconds instead of .5 seconds (interrupting it puts it on cd for half its normal cd duration, cannot be cleansed anymore) so there actually some counter play where you can reasonably do something against it while morde has to actually plan the right time to use it. (what i think they should do)

  3. just lower its duration from 7 to 5 seconds but up the core stats stolen from 10 to 15%. (maybe going to far)

I just feel like this ult overall shouldn't even exist to begin with, and while i get ultimate should be well ultimate, this ultimate is way to disruptive and tantamount to being as broken as poppy old ultimate. overall it just feels way to frustrating to play around it.

nah i don't like any of the proposed changes

they can just remove the magic pen from his E entirely and give that power somewhere else since that stat is the most useless one on him that very likely is a high contributer to his power

Simple, remove bonus damage on his Q, he doesn't need tcause he smashes people in 1v5's where he doesn't have isolated targets, can kill people in death realm without it and shouldn't have suh damage steroid for free while going tanky without additional magic pen from items besides his E passive.

I personally do not like the changes you've proposed, they'll just gimp him. With the current changes in effect, Morde now has 20 less movement speed then before resulting in him having trouble catching champions with a small amount of mobility, a larger death realm would exacerbate his current weakness.

The best nerf for Morde, and I've been saying this for months now, is to just flat out remove the spell pen from his E. This would result in champions actually been able to build MR against him and it meaning something.
