So... about Alistar...

This champ really needs something. I'm sick of people in my team actually picking him instead of a viable support (which translates to almost every other champion in this game).

He's a tank that has no away of forcing focus on himself, and no matter what you pick him for, all other supports outclass him by far.

Yo pick him for the sustain? Well, too bad, those champs do it better: Sona Soraka Kayle Nami Nidalee Bard. Most of them even got you covered with cc.

Well, ok, his heal is his weakest point, so instead you pick him for the tankyness and the cc. Too bad all those champs do it better as a support: Blitzcrank Braum Leona Shen Sejuani Sion Thresh Gnar (I'm not even kidding with the Gnar support, Seju and Sion are from my own experience)

There is literally no reason to pick him over ANY of these champions, or over the group of support/utility mages like Janna or Lissandra that do also see play on botlane. I might even go as far and call him the most unviable support in the game. Well, I'm not surprised that the champ is old as balls, even one of the orginal 40 I think, but that's a reason more that we need some large-scale rework on this.

Turn him into a REAL raging bull (imagine something like a unarmed Sion smashing everything to pieces) instead of this sad one-cc-trick-pony that he is right now...

Alistar is one the most powerful supports right now. I don't know what you're trying to get at by claiming his kit's anywhere near weak.

Alistar's kit allows for great peel, great engage, and super insane tanking, especially when it comes to tower dives. If you think he's bad then I suggest practicing him some more.

In every game I see him, be it on the enemy team or mine, he's about as useless as a melee minion and ignored through most teamfights.

I have yet to see ANYONE doing actually a good performance on that champ...

jungle ali used to roflstomp on everything but rito only wants him in support lane, if you get tired of people using him support then talk to riot for removing any viability he had in other lanes.

Out tanking a tank champion who can take 80% reduced damage for a good amount of time. Out CCing a champion who can just fly into the enemy team and knockup everybody. Sure, his heal isn't great, but it is AOE and if you get item 3504 you can buff your entire team.

He turns his ult on and then what? He gets ignored. Does he at least DO something while the enemy ignores him? Nope, not really.

I can also play Nami, Sona or Soraka for that item. Stronger heals and more range on them. Also I have yet to see an Alistar build that thing xD

No one picks Alistar for sustain.

they pick him for his ability to isolate a single champion out with a tackle/knockup combo, or a flash/knockup-knockback into allied team for murdering. along with that, his ability to keep his carry safe while keeping himself in the same circumstances with his ult are also additional reasons why he's picked.

Alistar when his ultimate up is more durable than any tank present in the game currently. 70% damage reduction AFTER armor and MR are tallied. So he's tanky.

He has a 1 second stun+knockback of 650 on his W. He has a 1 second knockup + .5 second stun on his Q.

2.5 seconds of CC + a knockback of 650.

His kit doesn't force focus on himself. It's meant to allow him to dive into a enemy team without risk of dying in the process, to either isolate one of the individuals from their group for the team, or CC the entire group with a well-timed Q, and knockback one of the enemy teams tanks/engaging champions. His ultimate is there for his survivability in team-fights, which allows him to further engage on the enemy, or protect a player/players on the team. People IGNORE Alistar because they do 70% less damage + even further by his armor and MR. Who the fuck is going to attack a guy for 7 seconds while he doesn't take any damage, unless they can do true damage? No one. It's a tactically stupid move, and pointless.

Possible thought.

You could just suck at playing Alistar.
