I don't understand how Blitzcrank is able to grab someone over a wall...

If someone is on the other side of a ROCK WALL, how is Blitzcrank able to shoot his hands through it? His hand would hit the wall and it would stop moving forward. Furthermore, how is Blitzcrank able to pull someone through the rock wall (even though his hand shouldn't be able to go through the wall in the first place).

Why can vel koz shoot through them? Why can fiora dash through them? Thematically, it doesn't make a lot of sense but game play wise it does

You shouldn't try to apply real world logic to a video game. By that definition Yasuo shouldn't be able to block an entire universe being created by using a simple wind wall.
