Gaining and losing LP is stupid
(Just a rant, nothing special) I started playing today, queued up for some top/jungle at 75 LP after being demoted from Gold 2 to Gold 3. 2 dodges. 3rd lobby I'm autofilled to support. Get into game and my Graves jungle comes bot to try and 1v2 the enemy Vayne and Braum. Twice. Vayne gets fed, we lose. All through this, he keeps thinking he's a Nasus with 1,000 stacks walking into 1v3s and getting killed after two autos from Vayne. Lost 19 LP, down to 56. Next game I get top and play Nasus. Team won very good team all around. Got 18 LP wahoo. Losing LP after 1W 1L in Gold 3 sounds about right. Next two games I carry as Nasus. Oh look I'm in promos. Get into loading screen see the enemy Riven has Championship Riven and his name is "riven is god". Feels bad for the Nasus versing him, right? Nope. Didn't feed in lane and was able to somewhat 1v1 15 minutes in. But guess what? Riot says "hey, this Gold scrub is in his promos and probably wants to win. Let's give him the stupidest most retarded teammates who like to troll, feed and AFK in his promos! That way, he can do his promos again and he has to play more of our game. Genius!" So my bot lane goes 2/14. Nice. Next game, I'm thinking okay I've lost one but I have a free win from being demoted. Let's win this and get back to Gold 2. Bot lane feeds and consistently overextends, my Vi jungle tries to 1v1 the enemy Jax after I back and gives him a free kill. Jax snowballs, kills me multiple times under tower while my Ahri mid slowly pushes mid while the enemy mid, Katarina roams bot with the enemy jungler for a 4 man gank with a high success rate of a double kill. Now I would normally not be upset with all this happening to me. But the stupidest shit is the fact that even though I started today at 75 LP with W3 and L3 I'm at 59 LP? How does that make sense? Like seriously, why should I be losing like 15 LP from getting into promos with 95 LP in the bank already and 15 of the LP from my win just go bye? Now after the 4 hours of playing, even though I went even I'm even further from Gold 2 then I was earlier today. Thanks Riot.
