Sated Devourer; who aren't we considering?

MasterYi Udyr Diana Aatrox Fizz Jax are obvious candidates, but I think there's more champions this item benefits than we're thinking about right now

Twitch only needs to AA you four times once he has this item for full stacks on his passive. BoRK procs twice as well so he has a pretty substantial damage buff once he has these items. How does this item interact with his ult though? Does it create a second bolt? I hope a Rioter can come and clarify how it works with a special case like this.

Vayne jungle might actually be deceptively powerful once she finishes this item, too. Being able to double-proc Silver Bolts shouldn't be something to gloss over, even if her early game is weak.

Shen and Nocturne can work up their passives faster, Shen even more so because of Feint doubling the reduction per auto to begin with.

Poppy might be able to double-proc her Q? I know hers is a weird case so I'm not too sure, plus it has the damage cap.

Teemo because who wanted to have fun on a video game?

Who's going under the radar with the possibilities of this new item? Do you think it's too powerful? Is the lack of lane presence for early game enough to compensate for the extra power for mid-late?

I think this item's actually pretty decently fair since it's basic attacks only (Warwick doesn't get to cheese you unbearably hard) and I'm excited as a Nocturne Aatrox jungle fan

Poppy: No. That's an on-next-attack effect, not an on-hit effect. It should not be doubled.

Other possible candidates/interesting interactions:

XinZhao : What would AP Xin Zhao do?

Skarner : Needs more Q spam.

Irelia : Might make playing her in the jungle actually possible.

Elise : With the recent buffs...

Kayle : Do I even need to say something? She's buffed the very patch, after all (look PBE notes).

Renekton : Although possibly plenty stupid, a fury'd Ruthless Predator could apply on-hit effect 5x in an instant.

I was actually thinking about him; since he likes Sheen items and he builds attack speed as a jungler anyway, he'd be a pretty good parallel to Nocturne for global pressure.

His [E] passive also works like Yi's, so he's going to be dealing a shit ton of damage every other attack.

(Probably)Not Actual Junglers: Caitlyn Double headshot=300% damage with 50% armor pen. Draven 185% AD -> 270% AD(and can still crit...) Ashe Weird edge case with the Focus. Probably doesn't work, but if Devourer's ghost is on attack, applying on hits, you could get 3 per shot... Karma Double Mantra proc! (Seriously though don't do this plz) Sona Fear the Power Chord/Devourer burst Zed Don't know how this interaction works, but if you get to deal 20% max health, then it could be really powerful just cause more burst on someone who's already low. Talon Darius Garen Doubled one-off on hit ability that does damage(probably others here)

?????: Tahm Kench (no picture yet): Normally you'd get Cinderhulk... but stacking that passive faster seems pretty good too. Q-Auto-Q becomes Q-Auto, and you can proc instantly on anyone in range of both then. Also, don't forget 12% bonus health as magic damage.

Ashe should work like Master Yi does, but it's not quite clear how exactly that works(passive, not E true damage).

It looks like Yi does single hit -> double hit(Devourer) -> double hit(passive on 4th attack) -> double hit(Devourer), so they never overlap. So idk what happens if Yi gets both up at the same time(maybe hit->quadruple hit->quadruple hit???)

Preface: On-hit effects and on next hit effects are not the same ex. Trundle Q, Darius W, etc

Chogath Works Ekko Works (only takes 2 autos to proc passive) Rengar Doesn't work Trundle Doesn't work Caitlyn Works (Headshot will proc more often, but it doesn't increase the damage from it) Draven Not sure how he would work. Depends on how many axes you are juggling (probably) Ashe Not sure how she would work either Karma Works (I think) Sona Doesn't work Zed Doesn't work The rest with one offs: don't work

Tahm: Q-auto-Q would not become Q-auto because devourer only procs every other attack so it would instead be auto-auto

Tried out Draven, and it looks like it consumes two axes at a time and shoots out two axes(which are really hard to catch...) Waiting to see the 7 axe video now...

Sort of get it now, it's on-hit -> consume a stack of prepared on-hit ability and apply it. So things like Sheen and Lich Bane don't get doubled(cause the stack is consumed), but BotRK does(cause it happens every attack).

Tahm: Depends on which auto you're starting on. If you attack a creep first, then it's Auto-Q or Q-Auto. If you attack the champion without an attack already started, then it's auto-auto.

It probably won't work on Poppy Q and Sheen effects and such as they are consumed at the first auto attack even if you do two "auto attacks" in quick succession Like if you buy a sheen on Renekton and use his W you won't get two Sheen procs

It's not that bad after playing. You still have to take the time to stack it as fast as possible, and then you need items for it to really hurt.

Honestly, quite a few of the people who would like the new devourer would probably still like cinderhulk more.

On top of GREATLY REDUCING Shen's passive CD ... it will also double the damage. I know their are much better abusers of this items passive... but this will make Shen a scarry duelist, not to mention he will regen a lot more energy and be more spammable in fights. I know your initial clears can be a little slow.. but 35% attack speed from runes and masteries can work pretty well with Q regen and reducing your passive CD early game. Once you get this item get a Mallet and you will be one sticky ninja.
