You can rework every immobile mage in the game, Riot. But please don't touch Malzahar.

When Akali was the queen of mid... When Fizz was the terror of mid... When Zed was the nightmare of mid... When Yasuo was death incarnate in mid... And When Veigar showed us the true meaning of fear in mid...

I picked Malzahar.

Because Malzahar isn't just A bully in mid lane.

He is THE bully in mid lane. And it's all due to his E and R.

Please don't touch Malzahar. He has been the one thing that has put fear into the hearts of my enemies through these cold, cold times.

So your argument for them not messing with Malzahar is that he has always been strong enough to deal with the most powerful BS champions?

That...is exactly the kind of thing you keep quiet about.

I think they are trying to point out that malzahar's play style is suited to deal with overpowered champions because he can farm safely from a distance and is one ofthe few champions that still has a silence. This allows him to not get stomped in lane by strong lane bullies but he falls off later because his kit isn't suited for teamfighting.

There's a Q for that

What Riot are going to do with these reworks is make every immobile mage different. You need a reason to pick one over any other.

So why do you pick Malzahar now? Be specific. Help Riot so that if he has to be changed for some reason he isn't changed in a way you don't like.

I want him to be essentially how he is now.

Strongest when he only has one person to deal with, but weakest when ganked.

It's a double edged sword of power. If he picks on someone for too long, he becomes a target for the rest of the team.

I'm just afraid that they'll take away his suppression.

I would be surprised if they took away his suppression without giving him something similar in return. He does have the whole "If I catch you out I will throw everything at you and watch you melt" thing going on.

I could see them swapping a suppression for a cleansable stun, but not removing it outright. While it is a imilar plystyle to many mages it gives him a different feel.

During laning Malzahar has to play around his e to farm and trade, his q although attached with a crippling 3 second silence max rank has a delay and can be difficult to land, and w is typically only useful when his ulti is up.

If they nerf Malzahar they will probably do it wrong since a straight number nerf can severely cripple his usefulness which is to 100 - 0 someone since kit wise he is not a mage, but a pseudo-assassin. Not to mention he tends to fall off in teamfights, especially against collapse comps.

malz was always a sort of sanctuary for mid-laners. A sort of sacred place which riot never touched. It will be sacrilege if they do it. like really.

Although he is a mad prophet. He always said to us "You can't touch this" and saved our elo.
