Never got this about ranked Queues...

When you just hit 30,you are paired with some average league players and if its your first time you aren't going to win (unless its a smurf). When you are winning and moving up out of your tier, you get paired against some guys in the above tier, who are likely to beat you, keeping you in your current tier. Saying that you should beat that higher ranked guy is like assuming they are equal or lower than you,and of course carry your team. when you are losing, you are paired with kids people of the tier below, saying that while you should be able to own them, you should have to carry a tier of this lower rank, while at the same time beating a team "that should be able to beat yours". lets look at this now. If im ranking up,and im paired againt someone who is moving down, who should win? What if i had a few good/bad games and got my mmr like that? does matchmaking state that we are now equal? I don't get it.

From what I understand, if you don't factor luck (whether it be good or bad), the only way to move up is if you are better than your competition.

With that said, if you are Gold rank and playing with Silver, you should be able to win more than 50% of the time.

If you are Silver rank and moving up, if you are good enough to beat the Gold rank more than 50% of the time, you will move up.

More or less, TL;DR, you and only you are responsible for your winning or losing over time. So if you are better than who you are playing against, you will move up. (or down, if you aren't)

If this was true, there would be a larger amount of players ranking up tiers. It's kinda like saying you don't need a team to beat their team. you make it sound like its a single player game. If i'm going up, and i'm not laning against the summoner in the above tier, that should pretty much be the lane lost. Also, you can go in duo queue to invite a frind who is a tier higher to carry help you win. If you are going down though, you should beat your opponent in most cases. however there are other lanes likely to get the crap kicked out of them, and while i can go help, I would then be making my self/lane vulnerable.
