why was zerphy removed?

i know it was a niche item and all, but was it really causing any problems. the tenacity and movement speed were pretty good, why not just rework the items stats a bit maybe give it attack damage instead of attack speed

no one bought it really. i mean aatrox players maybe. sometimes adcs swapped it out instead of their boots late late late game, but thats about it. it really had no place in the game. just taking up space that didn't need to be there.

every other attack speed item was just superior and increased your dps more. 25 ad with attack speed isn't as valuable as 30% crit or life steal or huge on hit damage in general.

it was good in theory. if you look at the item it looked super good. until you actually bought it.

i'd see udyr players build it from time to time and become uncatchable, i was simply suggesting that they change attack speed stat or refine it so it could better fufill its use, i don't see how the item was problematic like DFG either. if they have a problem with it not fitting in then why does item 3056 exist? have you ever seen one recently? cause i haven't, even with zerphy being pretty niche, it was still built more then

ohmwrecker is probably on the way out as well. its never built either and despite the constant changes to it, people still don't build it.

zephyr was never problematic, but it also had no reason to be picked. the udyr who you said picked up zephyr could just as easily have picked up an old phantom dancer or bork and done more damage. phantom dancer would even be more useful because of its old passive disergarding unit collision.
