I will forever hate Gragas and Galio for being the reason behind Doran's Ring changes
It's rough out here for mana hungry mid laners these days.

LyingOnLine2 votesThey weren't the reason for the changes.
Ring being busted was the reason for the changes.
YumaS2Astral2 votesRing was never busted. Galio and Gragas abusing them, and suddenly they become busted?
In truth they should have nerfed Galio and Gragas' mana costs instead of touching Doran's Ring. There were many champions that needed to stack Dorans. Malzahar, Brand, Fizz, Azir, Fiddlesticks, Cho'Gath... Why stack Dorans? Because it allows them to delay or skip mana items in favor of items that would benefit them more during the early game.
LyingOnLine2 votesRing was always busted. Galio and Gragas and Nautilus built as many as they could because it was busted as hell and stacked in a way it shouldn't.
YumaS2Astral2 votesThis item was only really busted on them. Riot shouldn't have nerfed Doran's Ring because it affected a lot of mages that used this item.
Ralanr1 votesThen Galio and Gragas would have been balanced around stacking rings.
