I've lost 122 LP to trolls, this week alone

But how many LPs have you gained by the enemy team trolling/feeding/afking?

It's less obvious since it's not in your team chat, but, assuming you aren't trolling/feeding/afking, you should have trolls/feeders/afks 10% less often than the enemy team.

Cool, I've only been trolled by this player twice in the past two weeks. This makes it three times.

Evidently it wasn't punished for either the time it rage quit, or the time it intentionally fed. Because both of those behaviors are appropriate in ranked games.

ADC threatened to AFK seven times, told us it 'gave up,' and wouldn't let our support use it's shield stacks because it missed a few. #justdiamondlevelbehavior

Yeah game is filled with a bunch of little cunts which is to bad because overall it is a really fun and good game. That's the price you pay for popularity. I reported and blocked someone one game and had them IN MY VERY NEXT game earlier this week.

Just had yet another troll. Fourth pick says 'mid only' and doesn't get mid, so it locks in Yasuo. It then says 'i thought Xerath was supporting.' Game starts, and Yasuo asks Xerath to go bottom. Xerath says 'No, you knew I was mid,' and Yasuo responds 'yeah idgaf, ill troll' And he does just that.

I was silver 3 and then silver 4 the next year....how the HELL do I go from that to BRONZE FIVE after going 6-4 in my damn placements...please tell me Riot...Please.

Play during the day, or late at night. Once in a while I play evenings/weekends and lose 3 days worth of LP gain because it's like being 2 tiers down and I'm at the mercy of the trolls. One game had a troll on both teams, both trying as hard as they could to lose, so the game dragged on for an hour.

So much better when the ahem less mature members of the community are still in school.

Except Diamond has literally lost all meaning at this point. I honestly feel no different playing in d5 than p5. Maybe it's better at the higher tiers. D4 felt the exact same though last year too. Honestly feel like d5-d4 is just the overflow of players spilling out of plat 1.

gonna buy a video card soon that is going to have a built in game recording program. if i was a D1 player and was dealing with that, i would start filming my games and sending them to Riot in emails if someone was trolling like that.

What exactly is your definition of "troll"?

the word is used too much and usually doesn't mean what other people think it means.

unfornately there are trolls/bad players/people want to have fun in ranked to justify how they play. I was recently gold 1 with plat promos ofc i would get trolled in promos ahri & yasuo instalocked at the same time while i claimed top mundo and had to jungle believe me it was not pretty. I tilted all the way to gold 2 climbed backed to gold 1 then tilted back to gold 2. Now last season was worst i went from plat promos twice to gold 4 and stayed in gold 4 for the rest of the season.

People seem to give up when a lot of kills are given this an objective base game at the end of the day with solid rotations you can win games. If you hate jungling don't pick lee sin.

Because it's life. Just deal with it, if your being trolled then have some fun with them (if your 100% going to lose) Remember it's just a game no need to rage. People are ganna appear and your ganna cri every time. Riot is already making trolls and afk's pay for their crimes.

It's your own fault. Why do you keep playing if you know you're going to get trolls and afkers? I purposely stopped playing for now because I know there are trolls and stuff in ranked and I'll only lose. I went down a whole division because of them.

Stop playing ranked then and only play normals. At least in normals it doesn't count. But to continue playing ranked is your own fault when you know there are trolls and you'll lose.

Sucks that you're losing a lot of LP to trolls. I dunno how it works up there but I find that, unless someone is truly committed to trolling, or someone else aside from the troll is inflexible, filling helps cut down on the rate of trolling for me. If one person demonstrates that they're flexible in terms of filling a role, it makes a positive effect on the other people who are confronted with "MID OR FEED!" If I'm taking the least-wanted/left-over role, then usually people are at least in a somewhat better mindset. Even the last guy to pick before me at least had a choice. It may have been between Jungle and Support, but at least he could pick the one he either sucks the least with, or hates less. He had some form of agency over the situation and that helps a little. Thanking someone for taking one for the team usually helps too. But again: I've never been at your level so I can't say if the trolls I get are different from the trolls you get.

One question, though:

If you're high Diamond, isn't that...um....enough? I mean, are you planning to hit Challenger and go pro? I can definitely understand wanting to climb if you got to a point where you feel like the highest peak, your ultimate goal, is in reach. Hell, if placements had dropped me into mid silver? I would sure as hell gone for trying to hit Gold this year.

My point is: Diamond is pretty high up there. Is there a reason to climb higher? If it's your personal wanting to, more power to you. I'm just curious as to why someone who's already at a very high level would want to keep on going.

Most likely, you have Lyte talking out of his ass, and skins. That's pretty much what happened all of 2014 and most likely all of 2015.

What is a troll? While I finally discovered the wonders of a Kalista that kept ulting me (Vel) into the enemy team. "Oh but you control where she fires you" you say, which is why after the first couple fails, she jumped into the middle of them first.

Luckily, someone dodged, and this player is going to go into it's next game and do this again without punishment.

So, our Janna left this Graves to ward, and he threatened to not group (aka intentionally throw the game) if she left him again. She left him again, and he ran into the enemy turret three times. Someone asked the other team to report him, he said 'lol im still playing, you cant report me for not grouping. read the summoners code'

In the previous lobby, someone dodged because they saw this player on their team. I've seen it do this twice in the past, as well; still able to queue for ranked, though.
