Suppression and Oranges

Yes, otherwise champions with suppressions would be 100% pick/ban if their CC was impossible to remove. It would be way too powerful.

But it's not impossible to remove suppression. There's QSS and then there's Mikael's Crucible. Suppression doesn't affect items after all, and Crucible can be used on you by other people so that doesn't even matter.

Suppression, as a form of CC, is useless if it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. You cannot argue against that. If it's supposed to not let you use abilities, no champion should be able to use abilities while Suppressed. There's no valid reason for Gangplank to be able to use an ability while Suppressed. It's not even a matter of counter-play, it's just the very fact that he's not technically supposed to be able to.

Look at it this way, though I think I'm just repeating myself:

Suppression: Champions suppressed cannot use abilities nor summoner spells.

Gangplank's Remove Scurvy = ability

Suppression > Abilities
