Because Riot "doesn't wanna enforce anything" yet here they are breaking Assassins insanely.

I'm sorry to break it to you... but not everyone has a single digit IQ and requires weeks of practice to play a relatively simple champ in a relatively simple game.

yea no. even if a kit is easy to understand, it still requires a bit of practise to understand a champions optimal matchups and power spikes.

and thats not gonna happen on the first fucking day.

hate to break it to you, but 90% of the people who pick a champion they have not played before will lose even against favourable matchups. when the guy theyre playing against knows HIS champion well. almost every champion in the game has a significantly lower winrate for people who play him the first couple of games.

yes, maybe 1 in 10 is specially gifted and will not feed the shit out of his ass. thats not a reason to take that gamble.

Here's how I do it:

  • Step 1: Buy new champ / rework if I don't own them.

  • Step 2: Load into a custom game, see if they can jungle. If so, continue clearing and practice ganking bots.

  • Step 3: If they can't jungle (or after a successful jungle game), I play them in lane.

  • Step 4: Play a norm or two (draft pick).

  • Step 5: Go into ranked, and do as well as I do with any other champ.

  • Step 6: Cry as they're banned 90% of the time until people pull their head out of their ass. (I never get to play Camille. Super fun to play, but permabanned. T_T)

Did that with Jhin, with Camille, with Warwick, with Taliyah, with Ekko, with all the releases since I've been playing. Sure I do better after a few more games, but I start out doing just fine and I actually have fun for a while. Hell, I got rank 7 Camille the day after her release I played her so much. xD

But, point is, this game isn't hard in the slightest. Once you know the general mechanics of the game, every champion is more or less the same thing, and pretty easy to pick up. Looking at their kit, you would know what matchups they would win, and what ones they would struggle in.

then youre part of a minority.

here is what most people do. see a video on youtube about some master/challenger player play a game on the pbe and go 25/0 against a bunch of fucking potatoes with a slow internet connection, enter a ranked game and think they can do the same.

the point isnt that its POSSIBLE that the guy knows what hes doing. but that its incredible unlikely and not worth taking the risk.

That would defeat the entire purpose of a rework in the first place, to get new people to play old champions so maybe they can sell some more skins.
