2-8 1st time placements but cant win a silver V macth

Recently I got into ranked. After a horrific score of 2 and 8, I still got placed in silver V. As of this post, it's pre-season. I tried like 15 times, and lost. Still in silver V with 0 lp. Even if I don't feed, I still lost. I tried trynd top and didn't die until 20 min. I also didn't get any kills. The rest of my team did horrible. I probably died the least. I just kept pushing and no dice. Will my rank reset afterwards. I see a huge difference between pubs and silver in terms of difficulty. I've never got my ass handed to me this bad. So what should I do. Should I just be a complete pubstomper. Also does my rank reset afterwards pre season. I'm not ready for silver

Honestly, I'd just lay off ranked for a bit and practice in normals. Keep practicing your play and working on what you think your failings may be at, be it farming, ganking, laning, etc...

I would start by taking simple steps. Make sure you have appropriate mysteries and runes. If you're saying that you're losing this much I would recommend that you go back into draft and learn a decent champion pool so that can play each position comfortably. Get each champion in that pool to level 3-4. Don't be negative or toxic in game. Wards are a huge deal. Pinging missing enemies is also a big deal. Find a duo partner and I would recommend learning about all the champions so that you can learn to counter pick your enemy and make sure that your champion helps your team composition.

(I'm not the best at these things)

I do get the feeling that you might've rushed into ranked as soon as you hit 30. Ranked is a real change in gameplay and in the lower end of it there is quite a bit of trolling. I would say jump into Draft pick and stay there if you want to prepare yourself for ranked. Find a few friends or at least one duo and learn to work with this person. The game can get complicated and there's a lot of changes going on in the pre season. Take this time to prepare yourself. Read guides, watch videos and continue to learn match by match.

I'm never toxic so I got that down. I just need to know what I'm failing at. I think it's planning and I think I need to improve my cs a little. I have a silver cs rank. I'm usually down a few minions 10 min but it gets worse as time goes on. I only no one ranked person but he's w8ing for season 6. Went 6 and 4. Bronze II still. That was a while ago. He's stuck. I'll just play pubs and learn lots of champions. Thanks 4 the advice.

Cs is partly team dependant, you have to realize that sometimes its better to help your team then to cs.

This often decreases your cs by alot after laning fase. Especially in low elo where players chase enemeis for 5 minutes to get a kill and more bullshit like that such as permanent teamfighting. Your team will often starts fights anyway even if you don't show up causing them to lose in 2v3 3v4 or 4v5 scenarios if you focus to much on farming/objectives.

Whilst it is true that objectives and cs are more important to winning then chasing kills and figting all the time it is often not what happens in bronze/silver. Best tip i can give is pick something with strong teamfighting potential. Champions whom have acces to strong aoe abilities for wavepushing and easy cc to apply will do well.

Just an easy strategy here;

Nautilus item 3512

The idea is simple, use zzrot to create map pressure by putting it in a lane behind a tower, the portal will farm and push alne for you, meanwhile you go and be annoying as all hell by goint to a different point on the map and and help your team.

Naut is just as example, but he has real easy cc just auto atatck for a stun ot point and click your ultimate on a carry. Meanhwile you just spam your aoe slow in teamfights and focus on keeping your carries alive, By auto attacking anyone going for them, this stuns them followed by your slow and they should be good, just be annoying and disruptive in fights.

Other easy cc tanks can work too, for example Alistar as support.

Zzrot will help you push/farm and create map pressure drawing enemies away so you can either fight 5v4 and get an easy win. Or your winions push down a tower. Worst case the opponent wins the 5v5 and your zzrot prevents them from taking objectives because they now have to deal with all the pushed waves.

Just Several Things to Help Ur Gaem (from one Silver scrub to another): -practing last hitting THIS IS IMPORTANT AS HECK. This is gonna be ur main source of income. I don't care how other Silver players cs, U should be aiming for at least 100 by 20 min (probably more if you're an adc unless ur support is derp). In the jungle 50 cs by 20 min is solid, provided that ur ganking lanes.

-Find ur Freelo (not really, but w/e) Honestly, don't try to learn several champions at once; find like 6 that you're good at and focus on getting better at using their kits in norms. Figure out what makes them good.

For example, I like spamming Sona Sona in ranked cause she has a mid-late game win condition (of being able to sustain her team through tower pushes and objectives) and a kit that allows her to achieve this (AoE shields and crowd-control that reduce the likelyhood of casualties during team fights provided that her team stays in close proximity to her)

-BUY WARDS

-did I mention practice last hitting Can't emphasis dis enough. Make a custom game and just get used to timing those hits. A kill's worth like 15 cs; so If you can get 15 cs ahead of your lane opponen, it's like you killed them. It's also super important if other lanes do this annoying thing called kill trading (I despise dis when I play mid or top) adding gold income to a lane and making the dominant side more likely to snowball during mid/late game.

-Don't Die (but Don't avoid fights to not die) this is probably the hardest (and most contradictory advice): learning how to avoid death in a teamfights and when not to engage in the first place. This generally takes experience, knowing when ur at and advantage/disadvantage and/or whether or not you can contest an objective.
