Why not just scratch off the 3 Illuminati shaco box and just give Shaco 2 clones instead

Its kinda useless tbh and its a shabby way of updating him in the recent class update. Currently his clone deals 75% of overall dmg we scratch off the Illuminati box entirely and give him additional clone and both clones deal 50% of the overall dmg instead. You said pior to the class update on context you wanted Shaco to do more in team fights .. i think an additional clone will cause more confusion among opponents in skirmishes as well as giving him a decent objective clearer as well such as soloing the drakes or 2 man baron if you have a crazy lead. Also a nice addition would if the clones could copy E so if you E your clones can E as well with much reduced dmg, triple knife throw would be bad ass.

if they were in theory to take out the self destruct feature on the clones and raised the CD on the ultimate i can see it being pretty balanced.

Maybe but It will be hard to balance it anyway, you need to make them more squishy and so it will be easier to find which shaco is which than it is now. You have also to consider that it might be good in teamfights but might be op 1 vs 1. Also how do you want to Control shaco's second clone?

you can have the 2nd clone follow a principle of always following a moving shaco weither its a clone or not. ill do it like this :

<--- ( real ) (2nd follows 1st clone.) ------> (first clone attacks target .)

IF you decide switch it about simply stop moving ur 1st clone and move the original shaco and thus the 2nd clone will turn and follow you instead ( cus ur moving and thats its coded principle.) So from here things get kinda confusing cus then u gotta wonder well which shaco is the real and which one should i attack first ? copied and pasted from above but answers ur question lol

tbh i would hate for the ult to have a cd increase.

Without the ult diving right ontop of their squishy feels incredibly dangerous. With it, i can jump on the squishy and delete them, ult and hopefully my Q comes back up and i can escape.

Riot is planning on doing a full VGU on Shaco in the future, and this was kinda just like a bandage fix.

I see a few things in here that make this impossible, though. First off, the second clone would be impossible to control. Second, triple E would be kinda strong if they don't either nerf the damage so that it's useless without the clones (it would be dealing double damage with them and it already deals a decent amount) or make it a skillshot.

The 2nd clone could just follow the 1st clone if the 1st clone is too far then it would just follow the real shaco , if anything aggro the first clone the 2nd would just follow up if within range. E becoming skill shot would be interesting.

Having 1 clone follow the other forces Shaco to follow both the clones or have it be obvious which one is real, same thing with having 1 clone follow the real Shaco.
