PBE Patch's 7/7 Items would be cool if they actually implemented into the game

The item's for the game mode are at the bottom; I think these items would be super cool if they were implemented into the game, obviously durng the pre-season since too much and too much change for in the middle of the season, but most of these items are already balanced. There are a few couple of items that would be a little too strong as they currently stand (like that support gold item seems like the gold generation is too high for a real game), but yea these items seems super cool to actually be implemented into the game. The ad crit item is good for immobile marksmen, the chalice tanky pull item be good for someone like Skarner who is too easily kited, the kiting expensive morellos good for immobile mages that need help kiting, the other expensive morellos adds a whole poop ton of strategic diversity to place on someone with waveclear and then hit a turret for a bunch of damage to it. The special river weak grail chalice item is a cool concept and encourages strategic elements for a mid laner to roam more or even make more junglers viable with a cheaper and weaker grail esq item

tl:dr : I love these items for their customization, options, strategic elements IF they were implemented into the game

Using them in the game mode might be testing them for the actual game. I really like some of these items and hope they, or some adaptation of them get put in the game.

I actually was thinking the same thing, that this might be Riot's way of doing a sneaky LIVE gameplay item testing for the pre-season 6 before pre-season 6 comes around

but all the items are super cool - again, pulling someone in, jump back a short distance, the same stats expensive morellos (which morellos will still be strong cause way cheaper and grievous wounds for an early power spike) but the other expensive morello items be either for tower pushing or help someone kite or stay on a target (the movespeed for karthus so he can stay in defile range for example; or anivia to help her kite even better than she already does with her slows and stun and wall of doom), cheap grail / upgraded chalice with ap for early game roaming for mages mid or even certain junglers become viable with a chalice item for their mana problems and help them roam up and down the river and make early to mid game plays--- so much diversity and options that i love these items for that and i really want them implemented to the game, other items need a lot of balancing and tweaking but still

They are probably removing grievous wounds off of morello eventually anyway, so replacing it will happen

I can see them implementing the expensive morello items in place of morellos - i can see like 90% of these items being implemented into the game which i would really like them being added as additions and massively increase strategic diverse elements to the game which would be super cool --- the charging item is extremely balanced as it is, the one issue would be it be overpowering for Hecarim only - but balanced (and good but not a must buy) for everyone else

Lost Chapter seems a bit too cheap for its stats. it's basically a Morellonomicon with 30 less AP and 500 gold cheaper and no Grevious Wounds.

ValyrianBlade2 votes

That 30ap would be worth over 500g wouldn't it... i mean, NLR 1600 for 80AP is 20 gold per ap, so 30ap less should be about 600 gold less, meaning it's less gold efficient without grievous wounds.

The upgrades on the other hand seem VERY strong. Lots of mages will probably go book > deathcap > boots > book > void staff > 6th item varies

its not cheap at all

1000g is 50ap 20% cdr is 700g mana regen would be 300g (mana and mana regen are stats with really weird calculation because they are extremely weak stats but at the same time allow you to use spells for mana champions - so it is easier just to calculate the other stats like ap and cdr which will be 1700g here with a 1800g item)

this is a really good item as it will really smooth out builds and they can make morellos even build out of this item --- these ap items would be the ones already super balanced to be implemented into the real game - i am sure the items in the gamemode are pre-pre-season 6 testing because it feels like these items will be implemented into the game

The mana regen items are my favourite. Mana regen for mages is an extremely limited build path and while Morellonomicon and Athene's get the job done, it'd be much more fun to have more choices. The Staph of Flowing Water in particular looks very cool. If they made it comparably expensive to Grail/Morello and gave it the stats to suit, it'd be a great potential choice for mana regen. And the kiting Morello is even better.

no no no --- the item being cheaper is better for the river staff chalice item because it makes a really good early to mid game diverse strat for mid lane to roam instead of farm or open up more junglers in the jungle with a cheaper grail - grail is still better - but a cheaper early game item be good for early game action and more mid roaming and all that---

kiting morello and tower pushing morello are both cool and can both fit into strategic elements from game to game and with the same stats and gold cost they make on the fly decision making of what you need in the moment while getting the stats you need as a mage

Well if you want it to be an early game purchase then sure, keep it at that price, but at least give it an upgrade. At the end of the day you can only spare one slot for your mana regen item and nobody will choose this over Grail or Morello because it's completely useless in combat compared to them as obviously it has about half their stats. Early to mid-game items that are useless later don't exist in builds, that's why nobody builds Haunting Guise anymore unless they're intending to upgrade to Liandry's. If you want to add strategic diversity with the river Chalice then it needs to have a slot in your end game build. Otherwise it will never be bought, making its addition to the game about as impactful as Ohmwrecker's.

it could build into Grail easily and just have the passive removed and replaced with grail's passive when you do upgrade it it would mkae a good transition and have the "farming mid laners" more incentive to roam and make action on the map

Considering Morello is disabled in the game mode in favor of those books, and the fact that they're phasing Grievous Wounds out of the game, I wouldn't be surprised if Morello got the boot after the game mode finishes and was replaced with one of the new books.

i can see them replacing morellos with BOTH those items - both of the items despite giving the same stats would both be bought for specific strategic elements either for kiting or tower pushing for mages plus a more expensive morellos means more people would buy grail but still buy those items as well so a huge diversity of items there (sorry i just really want to see most of these items because i do think they are really cool)
