This is where I lost all interest in Malphite. Before this I actually enjoyed the occasional Malphite game.

you miss AD malphite? i liked how his W AAs with ravenous hydra did more damage to secondary targets than the primary

Riot doesn't encourage "troll" builds (which is mainly why Rek's burrowed Q AP ratio was nerfed from 100% to 70%, so she doesn't become a mage). If Malphite is designed to be a tank, they won't rework him into a tank that can still build full ad.

Malphite needs and probably will get a full rework, so I wouldn't count on it.
