Stop comparing Jhin's abilities individually

He isn't even out yet and people are acting like champion design experts. What if I told you that Bard's Q is almost the same as Lux's Q but the champions are so different and the abilities are used for entirely opposite reasons (Lux for catching and setting up the combo, Bard for peeling). It doesn't matter that his abilities aren't unique, what matters is how they interact with each other to create a unique playstyle.

Trap is larger and does damage. better than cait ult is a larger cone than MF's. better than MF. passive has 4 shots instead of two. better than graves.

Am I doing this right? (/sarcasm)

LOL Well in that case, teemo's trap is larger, deals more damage and can place much more. better than cait Orianna's e's range is larger than veigar's ult, and deals aoe dmg. better than veigar Nami's e steroid ability has 3 shots instead of 2 and can be placed on allies as well. better than graves.

With your argument style, i can argue that lissandra's w is better than kat's ult, because it roots and deals dmg. You are forcibly comparing two abilities disregarding its interactions in terms of the entire kit. Even more, you've twisted the descriptions of the abilities so only one aspect of it is compared. Even as sarcasm you're only making a fool of yourself. Here's a quote:

"THE WHOLE IS GREATER THAN THE SUM OF THE PARTS" For all of you people out there who keeps on trying to twitch your moustaches, holding a magnifying glass in one hand and a scalpel in another, and frowning and squeezing those eyes at champion kits, REMEMBER THIS AND REMEMBER THIS WELL.

Why do you have to put in so much hate to people's hard work in the end? It's really sad.

If you're so good then go ahead and design, model, and script a champion. If you can't then just be silent and appreciate the effort the people really have put into this. Riot Gypsy had to stay up till midnight to fix bugs, not even mentioning other artists and parts of the new champion's group's efforts.

I hope you can learn to acknowledge the wonders of what is given to you, instead of sarcastically making complaints and discouraging others who are trying to spread light.

I really think you missed the sarcasm in his comment.

Honestly, I get a really cool vibe from him, even though a lot of people are like "oh no, his kit looks like X+Y" or "Any character could have his kit and make sense". Until people actually get to play him and utilize his abilities in tandem, I'm going to stick with him and say he looks like a high skill, and more importantly high strategy champion.

We don't need more groundbreaking mechanics, we need more groundbreaking strategy, which is what Jhin offers.

I think it's pretty cool how similar abilities can be used to create a completely different gameplay experience. I also think it's perfectly okay for a champion's VO and visuals to carry their character more than their kit.

He's immobile in a game where mobility has become almost a necessity if you don't have some crazy steroid or niche (MF or Jinx as ex) He's a "Slow Marksman" marksman are known for their high dps which requires, you guessed it, speed. His ult (from what it looked like) are skillshots again, in a game of mobility that's hard enough on it's own.

I plan to try him out and hopefully do well with him (mid lane most likely) since he's apparently psychotic and I tend to love those champs (Main Shaco and plan to main jinx as an adc if I ever get around to practicing adc) but I can understand where people are getting all the dislike from.
