You Know Why Yasuo's Design Was Flawed From The Beginning

Because just like every adc in the game yasuo was supposed to be an item dependent champion but god knows why the creator of this abomination thought, why shouldn't i add a shield passive that scales with levels as if yasuo is a fucking support? no fucking wonder yasuo is gonna end up being played in the toplane when you create a melee adc with a shield that scales with his fucking level. He did not even bother adding that passive on an ability therefore forcing him to choose either mobility or a big shield he was like, nah just add that shit in his doublecrit passive.

Immune to poke, immune to projectiles, immune to anything but 5 v 1 with some hard cc and good damage. Immune to ganks bc if you get to close he uses to as another dash. Give the guy a fucking grappling hook he seems to use targets to boost his mobility to extremes.

I think he's a cool champ other than him being the bane of my existence.

All that immunity and no LCS play... hmmmm

Your bias is showing

the only kills in the lcs are from ganks, there is no other action in the lane and yasuo is easier to gank than other champions.

Have to find it, but I'm pretty sure there's evidence actually showing the contrary. I remember exileh (the UOL midlaner) played yasuo a few times, and got completely dumpstered both in the 1v1 and by ganks because people kinda knew how to play against it. The fact the community hasn't been able to learn off of that still kinda baffles me, as playing against him isn't actually hard.

Ah, but this guy said Yasuo is immune to ganks :-P

Agreed. He's super mobile. In the slight chance you can catch him while he flees, he can toss up a shield and become completely safe. He should either have a shield or mobility, not both.

Riven has a shield and tons of mobility. Hers is even, I dare say, FAR more useful.

Her shield just absorbs damage, it doesn't block absolutely everything, including ults.

Neither does Yasuo's passive shield. You are now confusing that with his W windwall

Yeah, but if you're behind in gold, your ability to build ad is weaker, and less ad=weaker riven shield

Weaker Riven shield is still more useful than Yasuo shield and will block more damage at all stages of the game. Primarily because it is on a MUCH lower cooldown, and Riven chooses when it blocks damage.

Still wouldn't exactly call yasuo overpowered or anything, as unlike syndra the counters for him are pretty easy to play/use in comps (take a talon/quinn/kench into yasuo, and you'll usually have him building 5 tears assuming you don't instantly feed him like 5 kills). Original poster also kinda ignored the fact that the crit part of his passive is a double-edged sword, as while he does get double crit I'm pretty sure they do like 20% less damage, making the shield sorta needed as otherwise they'd have to remove that damage nerf just to have him gain something off it.

It -10% crit damage, and his q can crit at -25% damage

WhatAGeinius1 votes

Technically he's sort of right. Your crits do 20% less bonus damage and your Q crits do 50% less as 90% of 200% is 180% and 75% of 200% is 150%.

Well played :-P

This restriction is completely negated by Infinity Edge. I honestly wouldn't mind Yasuo if he built like he did in the old days, full glass cannon. Back then, he killed you in a blink and died just as quickly. Now, he kills you in under 4 seconds, while taking twice that or more to die with his PD Frozen mallet bullshit, and not to mention lifesteal

Shahamut2 votes

It's not negated by IE as any crit user will buy this item. Thus, his critical strikes are going to be weaker than others. If only Yasuo was buying this item, then you would be correct.

To your other point, Yasuo averages 1st or 2nd on most deaths per game... I think he dies fast enough, and that is "survivability" is highly over exaggerated.

He's not op but he's overloaded for what he is.
