Stop placing me against Diamond

I'm like high bronze skill wise but get lucky in my placements, get placed gold, and then giving up on ranked cuz I'm done of it

Time from time though I do like to try to get higher ranks though, but somehow the majority of the time I'm placed against players who are high plat/diamond who absolutely destroy me

Does rito burrito promise the new rank system will stop me from having my butt cheeks spread across the entire continent by players who's mechanical skills are way out of my league?

It get's pretty old going against someone whos like diamond 2, absolutely demolishes me in lane cuz I'm trash, and then have my jungle flame me and say its 100% my fault we lost the game at 4 minutes
