The Cassiopeia rework is intentional trolling by Riot.

So I guess technically it wasn't a mistake by an incompetent idiot or team of incompetent idiots.

I don't think riot is trolling. I think the dev in charge is trying hard to get it right, but might be trying too hard.

"Getting it right" is not doing it at all. This is intentional trolling. I'm giving stashu the benefit of the doubt here, because the alternative to him just acting like a useless idiot is that he simply is one. Though I guess he could be both.

Pretty sure that not being an idiot but acting like one is actually the worse of the two. Actually being an idiot means that while you're annoying it isn't your fault that your parents dropped you on your head as a child. Having the capacity for more and choosing not to do it makes you both an idiot, and lazy.

You got it backwards, man, and I'm sure that Stashu actually is doing what he can. Cass is currently suffering from a bit of a lost identity as poison is a pretty odd mechanic to work with outside of something as simple as Teemo's DoT effects, which copy pasting those effects would just make Cass a midlane Teemo and I don't think anyone wants that for her, including the people complaining about her current kit.

Give it some time, dude. Not every release or redesign is a winner. They can't all be Rek'Sais.

Dots and poisons are not difficult to work with unless you're an idiot (like stashu is or pretends to be). There was literally no reason for the rework and nobody asked for it. If he were doing what he can, he wouldn't have done this rework at all. This is trolling by Riot, plain and simple.

They aren't difficult to work with, no, but trying to build a system around poisons that's more than just a DoT like Teemo's still poses some design issues. And to be honest, I tried to learn her old kit and found it wonky and weird. It just didn't flow as well as something like that should have. Sure people learned to use it and liked it well enough, but Cass was never a priority pick or ban, at least not recently to my memory of season 3 or 4. She's always been decidedly "meh" as a midlaner. She had a great late game, but even then other midlaners could edge her out there through utility or by having comparable late game carry potential while having stronger mid or early games.

You're just QQing because something changed and you didn't like it. RIght now you're nothing but a child who doesn't like his Christmas gift.

Guess what? Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean the guy didn't put his heart and soul into it. So shut up about your disdain for it, give constructive feedback if any at all, and help fix what's gone wrong. The rework is already live, there's no taking it back now. Only thing to do is go forwards.

If you damned Cass players would ever stop complaining long enough to realize that maybe some positive changes could be made.

I think being given shit in a box warrants the complaints, and no, stashu did not put his heart and soul into it. He apparently has barely even played Cassiopeia, and so what if he even did? That doesn't make the rework any less of a badly designed piece of trash. Constructive feedback is telling him it's garbage. I'm under no obligation to try to help make this garbage work when there was absolutely no reason for it in the first place. This rework is unacceptable and should be reverted. That's constructive feedback.

Cale0171 votes

Hardly. Constructive feedback is something that a person can use to improve something that they're working on.

Reverting the changes made isn't constructive, it's destructive. Opposite. But good try.

See, the more everyone just bitches blindly instead of offering insight as to how to improve Cass, the longer it's going to take to salvage her into something that's actually enjoyable to play for the majority of players in the fanbase. You can keep yelling and screaming and kicking on the living room floor all you want, but none of that will change anything whether positively or negatively. If anything it's more likely to make it WORSE because without ideas and suggestions of how to improve it, Stashu might make more changes that impact her negatively overall.

If you're smart enough to have a sense of entitlement, you're smart enough to know that it isn't going to help you any.

Pre rework cass could carry any half adequate retard to diamond, this was obviously a problem. She had an insane early game, getting usually fed (or at least denying any amount of reasonable cs from the other midlaner) so an insane mid game, and of course, an insane late game....if you were unable to accept her as a problem just like jay dodging towers, then you sir, are an idiot

Doubt it... in fact, they are hardly trying at all. They haven't listened the playerbase nor the community at all... they are just doing random things that nobody asked for nor nobody wanted in the first place.

They didn't even bother to send invites to the actual Cass mains when the changes were first announced in the PBE. They didn't care.

cass is really fucking strong right now after those changes...

But the problem is that people want something that Cassiopeia used to offer that she no longer offers.

Sure, she's strong, but she no longer caters to the people that liked who she was, and instead offers a lot of attraction to people that only want mechanically difficult but strong champions-- who would be satisfied by literally any champion that fits the bill.

The Queen Viper1 votes

Nope, she's not ... she's only meh. Her passive is still complete shit and holding her back...

I like those conspiracy-oriented threads, but this is absurd.

Just did some search under your summoner's name, the last game you played was 8 months ago, way before Cass rework was made. Why are u complaining?
