when you build tank items is it still called skill when tanking ( not dodging skillshots plus has the power to kill a target). or does tank items like that hide bad decisions. by tank items i mean bruiser builds. if you cant outplay your enemy you can 1000 miles an hour while tanking their damage then killing them without even considering they have skillshots with 100% accuracy on him (since your running in a straight line at them).
Phieldworker3 votesGood decision making is also a skill. Some can be mechanically skillful but be lacking it in their decision making. That’s why you can find silver yasuo/riven players that play their champs so well and can win lane phase over and over again but they keep losing due to bad choice making. So we can’t really say someone choosing to build/play tank means they lack skill altogether.

Phieldworker2 votesI get what you’re saying. The act of tanking takes less but it still is decision making at play there. Knowing when to group and when to farm, when to engage, and when to just be a wall to soak up damage. All things a tank player has to think about. Doesn’t mean they are any less skilled than the assassin or adc player just means their strengths are in a different category.
xDogMeatx1 votesI don't know why I'm downvoted due to how frustrating that whole tanks can get all beat up yet can go 1000 miles an hour and still kill. All I can think about is "if you can't outplay me just out tank me" or "tank beats absolute skill".
Besides that though I'm content besides the damage they are given not earned. (Scaling vs base) getting steamrolled/killed is not a nice feeling while doing my absolute best to kite that damage flash dash attack them yet 0 effect on them. All they do is rush you 0 skill/counterplay style.
