Explanation on Xerath nerfs?
Not finding why xerath was nerfed. The only problem i am seeing is that he is able to do his job well but is immobile, just like syndra before the nerfs.

I think riot is trying to have foresight into who will rise to the top after the zed/akali/fizz nerfs. But by doing so, they are showing once again that, they need help balancing around stupidly mobile champs. I mean veigar ATM has nerfs instead of buffs on the PBE.
Xerath's ability to team fight nowhere near his team is becoming obnoxious.

Xerath's ability to team fight nowhere near his team is becoming obnoxious.
May be it's because other initiate midlaners got nerfed and mana changes didnt affect him. May be?
It's meta shift. It's not because Xerath is stupidly op or he is overloaded. If they continue nerfs for Xerath, others will get stronger. It will not change anything. Meta needs complete change.
Again, Xerath's ability to team fight without having to be near his teammates. What does that have to do with mana and initiating? It's one thing to have long range like Lux, but to be able to contest Baron or Dragon from red/blue camp is just obnoxious. His long range stun only reinforced this lame play style.
Why dont you just sneak into him and snipe him off especialy when he probably has not zhyonas yet?
He just goes POOF into the air with burst melee. And did I not stress that clear enough? He can't fucking melee. All his skills are ineffective in melee range.
So easy to dodge too.
The closer you are to him the easier it is to land a stun. If you get stunned, that's an automatic empowered W followed by a quick Q. Forcing one man to go after Xerath is the equivalent of chasing a Singed. You'll quickly turn the baron fight into 4v5 will Tryndamere attempts to flank Xerath when all he has to do is reposition himself to the adc.
The problem is his range. azir's range got heavily nerfed and it was part of his design. The difference between a Nidalee spear and an Azir soldier is that the further you are from them, the easier it is to avoid it. With Xerath distance doesn't matter, it's a guessing game of wether to dodge left or right.
