So why is rageblade on Jhin so good now. From four to six.

Rageblade on this patch has changed...drastically FIrstly, it has become cheaper. 3600 gold to 3000 is very affordable. But what makes it so much a different item is these two changes.

ATTACK SPEED PER STACK : 8% bonus attack speed ⇒ 8% "total" attack speed ATTACK DAMAGE PER STACK : ⇒ "4% bonus attack damage"

Generally, now since guinsoo's has a base of 25% attack speed, in conjunction with these new passives, it is technically the item that gives the most attack speed. and AD if you have a few items such as a humble IE. At max stacks you get a "total" buff of 48% with 32% bonus attack damage. Then combine it with Jhin's actual passive which gains him AD per attack speed, it becomes a seriously deadly combo.

After all the trials and tribulations we Jhin mains suffered from the rune rework, this feels like a great gift from Riot.

It has nothing to do with the attack speed stat, its the %ad that breaks it on him. it pretty much doubles his total ad late game when fully stacked, gives like over 100 ad per stack.

His passive will need nerfs.

If you nerf his passive ratio it will make guinsoo's mandatory on Jhin which riot doesn't want. Jhin has been out of the meta for around a year now and still with Jhuinsoo's he still has a 48.5% winrate. not to mention you're only going to build it for your 4th-6th item which means that it only affects his late game.

edit: or if you could, it'd take too long to stack to it's max to be worth

well guinsoo's has a 5 second CD and jhin's reload is 2.5 seconds so you'd have to have the greatest of peels.

which is generally achivable in this tank meta. Also, you will be fast as hell around 4 stacks, you can reload quite safely.

Even if you do manage to stack it, it'll take so long to stack it would it really be worth? Like, you'd need to go through two reloads before you start experiencing the full effects of rageblade, right?

Although if you know how to right click, and still have 80% crit, you just auto once and go 0-60 in -.8 seconds. So you just walk away from whomever is chasing you until your team can peel for you.
