Decision Making Help
Earlier today I was jungling, and I encountered a situation where I wasn't sure which one to do:
I'm playing Amumu
I'm chasing a Graves (out of reach but extremely low) and Taric (one auto away and reachable) away from Drag as they pass over their scuttle movement speed buff making it clear I was not going to chase them down. My Caitlyn is approaching from Blue to help me take dragon while their jungle Warwick was passing through mid to put pressure at Drag.
My question is what should I do in this situation?
- Flash for Taric and save smite (as it only had one charge and wasn't going to refill it's second one in time) for Dragon, knowing Warwick was there to possibly steal it
- Smite Taric to kill him and leave dragon as it would probably be stolen by Warwick
- Smite Taric and move on to Drag while trying to zone Warwick away with Caitlyn (a rando so not much teamwork can be expected)
- Leave Taric without using smite/flash
etc. etc.
As you see, there were multiple options but the two I was torn between was whether I should Flash or Smite to kill Taric, knowing their jungler was coming to pressure dragon. Thoughts?
