Rengar and Kha'Zix mid air abilities

At release and could use all their abilities mid air, Eventually they nerfed Rengar's ability to use auto + q mid air and Kha's mid air w. However they still can use all other basic abilities + mid air and even rely on it to be viable in most cases.

Although i do NOT have a problem with it nor do i think they are op, I do think however that it is unfair for the enemy, since it is very difficult to avoid their damage and CC and maybe they should be balanced in a way that allows slightly more counter play.

For example has a faster leap and has a faster bola strike. Those are the only champions i can think of that can cast abilities mid air that i can remember at the moment and i would like to hear your guys' thoughts on the matter.
