Camille Mains, I Need You

I wanna pick Camille up, like really badly. I just got the urge to play her last night and shes super strong and super fun and I just love champions like her.

Going into my games last night, I hardly knew how to play her, but I...

  • Maxed Q, then E, then W
  • Rushed Tiamat then Triforce
  • After Triforce I upgrade Tiamat into Ravenous Hydra (or whichever the red one is, I cant remember off the top of my head)
  • After those items the games ended (i didnt have the best cs so i didnt get to buy many items), i think i started working on building Randuins Omen

And thats really it in terms of items and abilities. If you have any tips to help me improve then please feel free to comment below as I would love the extra help.

Thanks! :D

Practice makes perfect, play her in normals and don't ban anyone. I say this because you will be counter-picked or have bad match ups for her eventually so just learn how to play into them. Practice makes perfect so just play her every game don't try and counter pick people just play her over and over and over.

Thanks for the tips :D

So, if you're good enough, does she theoretically counter everyone? That's what Im getting from your response, which makes me want to play her even more!

Uh, theoretically if you're good enough whoever you pick will counter anyone. Someone like Tobias Fate playing his GP into his worst counter but the counter player is bronze TF will still stomp the guy. Being a better player is what wins lane more often than not, just because they pick a counter doesn't mean you can't win you can become so good at a champion you will win lane regardless. So yes, being better than your opponent makes her a "counter" to everyone.

Hi, I main Camille as a secondary pick if Irelia is Pick/Banned. Camille is a scale champion, but i like to focus on the early game cause its my favorite part of league. So for early lane phase honestly, i put 3 points in W first before maxing Q or E. So i usually go Lvl 1 - W, Lvl 2 - Q , Lvl 3 - E, Lvl 4 - W, 5 - W and then max either Q or E depending on the opponent / situation. I do not max Q first because the Q is a scaling ability, and if you have no items you're not doing damage. So By the time i have 3 points in W and begin to max Q, i already have a Phage or Tiamat Etc for the damage to pump out on enemy champions. I put those 3 points in W for the sustain and poke in lane early game, It's REALLY annoying for opponents and it can be followed up with a Q cause they are slowed. It also causes the enemy to probably use their evade move (Riven's E for example will be used to avoid W) So i can then follow up with the E of my own. I try to only trade in lane when my passive shield is up because it helps me out-trade by taking less damage.
