They wanted to give Rengar an escape. It would be fine if Rengar didn't have his bone tooth necklace fantasy.

But did he also need to heal 50% of the damage he took and get a MS steroid off it?

A cleanse would have been healthier than straight up CC immunity.

Hey man, I don't really know why Riot does things. Sometimes I think they put stuff on because it'd be cool and fun to use.

I'm still confused why Malz needs 90% damage reduction on top of a banshees veil for his passive. The veil was enough!

Rengar W needs to be gutted (remove cleanse), and gut his passive, in exhange, PLEASE revert the ult indicator so we can actually be an assassin again, and hunt people in the mid/lane again. Right now, his ult is basically a scouting/zoning tool, rather than a hunting tool. you still use it to get in team fights, but apart from that, unless the enemy is stupid enough to not run/group when they get the ult warning and see u coming from miles away, you aren't hunting anything.

AT level 5, and any smart Rengar builds 45% CDR and maxes it second. Spam Q in teamfights (he is a bruiser now afterall), get it every 4 seconds (I am not joking).

You mean laning phase, where he just camps in a bush and can instantly achieve full ferocity for the CD reset any time he jumps to turn horrible trades into great trades every single time?

leap->Q auto E is a very quick trade that you can essentially prevent any significant retaliation against since you then have empowered W sitting there to dig you out of whatever (normally) horrible trade you decided to make.

That's effectively the same issue as the original Rengar, but it has more safety and the option to follow up with more aggression very easily.

in laning phase rengar has no longer infinity manaless sustain like before

and his W has 20 sec cd so you have your time to out-trade him a second time

this is better than 2014 rengar

3 stacks->Jump->Q->W->W

You get back the 100% of the damage you took and you run away to the bushes again with CC inmunity, repeat this process and you will always trade for FREE.
